Alastor and Wynter has made it back to his house after she had made sure her brother Jack was still alive. She knew if she tried to help Jack he would probably try fighting her again and she didn't want that. They were both injured and she knew Alastor probably would have ended up killing him in the end. Her face stung and she couldn't see out of her right eye from the claw mark down the side of it. As soon as they got inside, Alastor turned towards her to examine the wound on her face.

"I hate that he went for your face. Let me see the wound." Alastor demanded in a soft tone.

"I'll be fine, it's not as bad as it looks Alastor." Wynter said as she tried to brush him off.

Alastor wasn't having any of it though and gave her a stern look. She tensed and frowned as she held still for him. He gently brushed her hair out of her face seek the cut start from above her eyebrow and go clear down to her cheek. She could tell he wasn't happy even though he kept smiling. The bleeding had stopped though her face looked bloodied from the wound.

"Lets get you cleaned up shall we? After I've taken care of you, I'll let you take care of my arm." He told her as he gently led her over to his bathroom.

Wynter sat down onto the edge of the bathtub and waited patiently as Alastor searches for bandages and materials to clean their wounds and stitch them up if needed. Once he had found what he was looking for, he kneeled down in front of her. She saw the bottle of hydrogen peroxide and she cringed knowing it was going to sting like hell when he put it on the on her face.

"Hold still darling, I know this is going to be uncomfortable and hurt, so I apologize in advance." He said in a soft tone.

"Just get it over with. The quicker this is over the better." She sighed as she held still for him.

Alastor took a clean rag and wet it with cold water then began gently cleaning her face. The wound wasn't as bad as he thought it was, but it still looked like it would take a while to completely heal. Hopefully she wouldn't develop a scar from it. As he cleaned her face, he decided to distract her with a conversation so she would relax for him.

"I don't like that you've hidden your true abilities from me darling. If you thought that I was going to use your abilities to my own benefit, your half wrong. However I don't have any ill intentions to use them." Alastor said in slight disappointment.

Wynter frowned knowing that she probably should have just told him about her abilities in the first place. She felt like she couldn't trust him in the beginning though. All the rumors she had heard of him made her feel that way. However, now that she is seeing a different side to him, things were different now. She knew however that Hati didn't trust him at all, and that would be an issue.

"I-I didn't trust you when we first met. There were many rumors about you going around and I honestly didn't know what to believe at first. Things are different now though, and I'm starting to see that I can trust you." She told him as she glanced away from him in shame.

Alastor stared at her for a bit before taking some hydrogen peroxide and wetting a cloth with it. As soon as the cloth touched the wound on her face, she flinched. The burning sensation made her whimper slightly and grip onto the sides of the bathtub to the point where her claws dug in.

"I understand that, but you really shouldn't have kept this from me. You and your brother are special. I haven't ever seen power like yours before." He said as he cleaned her wound gently.

"Tell me a little bit about this power you and your brother have. I'm quite curious about it." He asked her.

"Hati is an extension of myself in a way and it's the same for Skoll and Jack. They come in the form of a shadow like being. Hati can speak to me whenever he likes and sometimes likes to annoy me with his lectures. However, he has helped me out in many situations where I could have died. He can feel my pain and I can feel his. The only difference is that my wounds don't affect or appear on him, but if he gets wounded then I get the full effect of it. Same goes for Skoll and Jack. Skoll isn't as strong as Hati though, that's been proven before when Jack tried to fight me by using Skoll." Wynter explained.

"And what of their names? Hati and Skoll? I feel like I've heard those names before." Alastor asked as he looked at her curiously.

"They come from Old Norse Mythology. There is a legend of two wolves that were brothers. Hati chased the moon each night and Skoll chased the sun each day. Legend tells that when the wolves finally swallow the sun and moon, Ragnarok will begin. It was essentially the end of the world to the Vikings. My family was Norwegian so I wasn't too surprised when I found out I had these abilities. It's kind of ironic though since my brother hates me."

Wynter paused for a moment as she felt Hati growl slightly at her in her mind, but she ignored him and continued to explain her power to Alastor.

"We can change into a wolf if we choose to, but our appearance is nothing like the Old Norse legends. It's quite terrifying actually. I only use that form though if I have no choice in a fight and I've only had to use it once. Jack can do the same as well. The runes help give me power and Hati also takes power from them when he needs to."

Alastor thought about what she said, finding this information about her very interesting. He finished cleaning her wound and smirked at her as he gave a slight chuckle remembering the fight.

"Hati, doesn't seem too fond of me though." Alastor snickered.

Wynter let out a breath as she relaxed slightly as the burning slowly turned into a dull ache. She looked up at Alastor and gave a slight smile.

"Well, Hati isn't very fond of anyone I get involved with. He's grumpy and has a hard time trusting anyone. He just doesn't like you because you smile all the time and he can't tell what your thinking or feeling half the time because of that." She chuckled.

Alastor smirked at her commenting about him always smiling and shrugged a little.

"It's my belief that you aren't ever fully dressed with a smile. It also intimidates my enemies so there is an added benefit to that as well. They can't tell what I'm thinking or feeling, so Hati has every right not to trust me." He declared.

Alastor cleaned and bandages the wound on her arm afterwards but left the wound on her face alone. There wasn't much he could do for that except let it heal on its own.

"Can you open your eye for me? Or is it too painful?" He asked as he looked at her with a slightly concerned smile.

Wynter frowned as she opened her right eye a little and cringed slightly as it stung to do so. She was able to open it halfway before she finally closed it back down and shook her head.

"It hurts to keep it open, but I can still see out of it at least. I'll just have to give it a few days before I can finally keep it open without any pain." She answered.

As soon as Alastor was done taking care of her,she had him sit on the edge of the bathtub and started cleaning the wound on his arm. It looked pretty messed up from her brothers wolf, Skoll, biting him. As she cleaned it and started stitching it, she noticed that Alastor barely even flinched as she did this.

"Does this hurt at all?" She asked looking up at him.

"Not at all, I've had much worse done to me in the past. And besides, pain doesn't really bother me." He stated smirking at her as he did.

Alastor then chuckled and gave her a slightly seductive look.

"Pain is a bit of a turn on though for me, if it's done right that is." He snickered at her.

Wynter blushed and then smirked back at him. She finished up stitching his arm and shook her head.

"So your not only a sadist but also a masochist? No wonder why you love inflicting pain on others." She said as she cleaned up the materials.

"As I said before, I enjoy pain if it's done right." He chuckled at her.

Alastor leaned his face close to hers and her face turned red seeing the seductive look he gave her. He lifted her chin up more so he could look into her eyes and she noticed how his red eyes glow slightly at her.

"Would you like to give it a try?"
