A few days had gone by since Wynter had finished her first job with Alastor and things were actually going well. She was beginning to see another side to him that that she never thought he had. He was a gentleman and knew exactly how to charm a lady like herself. She was still wondering about all of the rumors about him though and thought that maybe not all of it was true.

She was starting to trust him after the few conversations they had and so far he hadn't given her a reason to fear him. He was hiding something though and she knew that, but she was hiding things as well from him. The runes she had on her shoulders held a power only she knew how to use. In life she had a big interest in Old Norse mythology thanks to her family roots being from Norway. She knew how to read them and could even tell someone's fortune with them if they asked.

Wynter only used her power though if she was in dire need of more power if she were fighting against an enemy who was stronger than her. Her wolf Hati who was an extension of herself in the form of a shadow stirred in her mind and heard him speaking to her.

"You can't trust that Radio Demon. He's stronger than you and if he chose to he could easily kill you."

Wynter frowned as she looked at the people in the bar she was in. Thankfully she was in a booth in the far corner so nobody could hear her talking.

"I know he's strong, but he's not at all threatening to me. Besides he needs me for his job." She said in a low voice.

She felt become a little agitated and heard him let out a low growl.

"If your not careful you'll end up having feelings for him. You don't know what his intentions are really. He can't be trusted."

Wynter scoffed a little and closed her eyes as she leaned her head against her hand on the table.

"Yeah right, like I could fall in love with him. Your always so grumpy and get this way when I get involved with other men as well. I'll be fine don't worry about me."

Hati let out a huff not happy with her response. "Just be careful and keep your guard up."

"I'm always careful." She said.

"Wynter my dear, I wasn't expecting you to be here as well. What a surprise."

Wynter was startled hearing Alastor speak to here looking up at him wide eyed. She felt her tail fluff up from being startled and she saw him chuckle seeing her tail do that.

"Sorry for startling you but I came here for a drink and when I saw you, I just had to come over and greet you my darling." He said in an amused tone.

Wynter smiled a little as she watched him sit down in front of her.

"What brings you here?"

Alastor grinned as he leaned forward a little and giving her an amused look.

"To see your beautiful face of course."

Wynter felt her face become beet red at his flirt and began to stutter a little not able to get proper words out. Alastor laughed at her reaction and she glared at him. He calmed himself from laughing at her and leaned back in his seat.

"Your reactions are adorable. I love absolutely love teasing you." He said still quite amused with her.

Her ears flattened against her head and she let out a frustrated sigh.

"I'm glad to know that my reactions bring you such joy and amusement Alastor." Wynter said sarcastically.

She hated being teased since she blushed easily. She was quite good at flirting however and could handle men lusting after her since she could just beat them to a pulp if they went too far. When it came to teasing her though, all bets were off.

"Anyways as much as I love seeing you my dear that's not the reason I came to find you. I got a lead on one of the guys I'm looking for and I need your excellent tracking skills again. I know your sense of smell and hearing are good and that might come in handy for this one. He's not easy to find though and if we find him he'll put up a good fight. He's quite stubborn." Alastor state's as he studied his nails looking a little agitated.

"Even if he tries to put up a fight I highly doubt he'll do much damage. He obviously hasn't met me if he thinks he's a tough guy. Plus I'm quite stubborn myself." Wynter smirked as she said this.

Alastor looked up at her with a wide grin and gave a small chuckle.

"That's one of the reasons why I like you. Your confident in your abilities and don't hold back." He expressed to her.

Wynter blushed and pouted a little giving him an unamused look.

"Thanks... but we need to focus on the job first before you can flirt with me more Alastor."

"His name is Ryker and I know that he lived near the eastern side of the pentagram. There was a bar and casino he frequented a lot but I'm not sure if he still goes there since he decided to disappear on me." He said.

Wynter thought for a moment before she came up with an idea.

"We could check and see if he still goes there. If he was a regular there are more than likely people there that know him well. It wouldn't hurt to try to get a little information from them. People don't usually recognize me right away so I can try and talk to a few of them there." Wynter stated as she laced her fingers on the table.

"That might work, we might as well try it. People recognize me pretty quick so it would be best if you did it." He said as he got up from the booth.

Wynter stood up as well and followed him out of the bar. She felt like this next person would give them trouble but felt confident in herself since not many can match her in power. She felt Hati stir within her getting excited about the possibility of a fight happening.
