You sat bolt upright from the nightmare that you had and you happened to have a panic attack.
You looked over at your boyfriend to see him sleeping peacefully beside you. But you didn't want to wake him up because you knew he was very tired from work.
You tried calming yourself by breathing in and out, but you failed.
You closed your eyes, then suddenly, you heard a few shuffling from the bed and Newt was now hugging you from the back.
He nuzzled his face on the crook of your neck, making you feel a little better.
But that didn't stop you from panicking.
"Babe, babe." Newt said in a soothing voice.
You turned to him slowly and when you were fully facing him, he looks at you in the eyes, with his face full of concern.
"I'm.. okay.." you said in between breaths. But you know your boyfriend was not going to be satisfied by that.
So he lifted you up, and put you on his crossed legs sideways like you weighed nothing, tucked strands of hair out of your face, and the next thing you knew, his lips were already pressed on yours.
Your breathing slowly began to return to its normal rate and you wrapped your arms around his neck.
The both of you broke away from the kiss and rested your foreheads on each other's.
"I love you, You bloody Greenbean." he mumbled. Though you weren't really a greenie, he just liked to call you that.
"I love you, too, shuck face."
