I woke up and looked at Baekhyun, who was sleeping beside me. I needed someone, anyone at this moment and I'm glad that he is the one who is here for me. I glanced at him and noticed that his arm was around my waist. I felt my face heat up and I turned away immediately. I gingerly pulled his arm off from around me.
I heard him groan and saw him turn on his side, staring away from me. I sighed, thankful he turned away. I could still tell my face was red and my heart was beating rapidly.
I slowly got up from the bed and cringed when it squeaked loudly.
I turned to make sure Baekhyun didn't wake up.
Luckily, it didn't seem like he did.
I tiptoed towards the closet, making sure I was quiet enough so he wouldn't notice me missing. However, I was unfortunately unlucky.
"Where are you going, Y/N?"
I stopped dead in my tracks.
"Y/N?" He questioned. I could hear him sitting up in bed.
Still standing in the same place, I slowly turned towards him with an awkward smile.
"Don't worry, I'm just going to take a walk for some fresh air. Do you mind if I use some of your clothes?" I asked sincerely.
He eyed me suspiciously before sighing in defeat.
"No, I don't mind. However," he paused and smiled sadly, "do not do anything stupid and come back in an hour or else I'll call the police for a search party."
I could see that he was serious, dead serious, so I smiled and replied with, "You don't need to worry. I'll be back soon."
I headed back towards the closet and shut the door. I pulled a long sleeved hoodie off a hanger and grabbed a pair of ripped skinny jeans.
I threw on the hoodie and pants quickly and left the closet. When I got out Baekhyun wasn't there and I heard the shower running.
I smiled sadly and grabbed my phone.
It was nice outside. It was a little chilly with a small breeze, but sense I was wearing a hoodie I felt warm.
I headed down the street randomly roaming around. My headphones were in my ears and I was listening to a calming song, 4 O'clock by RM and V.
"Where are you? Oh, you?" I sang along quietly and wistfully.
'I miss you...'
I kept my head low as I headed to my house. I couldn't stop seeing the picture of my parents on the ground.
I knew I would have to go the police station today for questioning.
I stared emotionlessly at the ground and kept one foot in front of the other. Grass was growing in between the cracks of the side walk, but it was brown and crispy. It was already dead.
Tears swelled in the corner of my eyes but I wiped them away before they could fall.
'I should have been home...Maybe I could have died instead....'
As I kept walking I felt like I was being watched. I looked up and saw someone out of the corner of my eye hide behind a few bushes and a tree.
I rolled my eyes.
"Jungkook, why are you following me?" I questioned, but kept walking.
"Wow, you got quite the eye. How did you see me?"
"Cause I saw you, duh. Now can you go away? I'm not in the mood," I replied harshly, holding in all my emotions.
'I can not fall apart in front of him.'
"Awww, come on. You always say that," he pouted at me. I instantly turned away and started to walk faster.
"What's wrong?" He asked, while staring at my serious face.
More tears swelled in my eyes and this time I knew I couldn't fight them off.
"Y..Y/N...?"
He grabbed my arm and pulled me into a hug when he saw me crying.
"What's wrong, baby?" he whispered in my ear. "Shhh, shhh. Everything will be alright."
I sobbed into his chest as he held me close.
"My...my parents," I croaked out.
"What about them..?" He whispered gently, trying not to startle me.
"They're....they're dead," I sobbed harder.
'I have no one now....no one understands.'
"Shhh, it'll be alright...You'll get through this. Cry all you need to."
I looked up at him and saw that he was shedding a few tears himself.
"W-Why are you cr-crying...?" I hiccuped.
"No reason," he responded while wiping his eyes. "Do you have somewhere to stay?"
I nodded my head and mumbled Baekhyuns name.
"What was that?" He titled his head and had a confused expression on his face.
"I'm staying at Baekhyuns," I mumbled a little louder.
"How's it going over there? Is he taking care of you?" He smiled but it seemed...dark.
I felt my face heat up once again and I pushed away from Jungkook. I wiped my tears and nodded my head yes once again.
"I have to go. Goodbye, Jungkook, and thank you," I turned around and headed back to Baekhyuns house.
I sighed with frustration because I couldn't get to my house in the hour. I pulled out my phone and checked the time.
I sighed again. I only had five minutes. I put my earbuds back in and jogged the rest of the way there.
"Thank God! I swear I was about to call the police!" Baekhyun shouted from a few feet away.
I smiled at his concern and ran into his arms. I hugged him tightly, afraid to let go.
   "Thank you," I whispered.
I felt his arms wrap around me and his face lay in the crook of my neck.
   "For what?" He whispered back.
"For being here for me when I need someone the most," I said while shedding a few more tears.
He chuckled and grabbed my face gently with his hands.
"There's no reason to thank me," he smiled.
I looked at him and was caught in his deep brown eyes. They were sparkling and it made me feel like all my problems just disappeared. Before I knew it he was leaning closer and closer towards me, closing his eyes slowly.
I closed my eyes and waited for his lips to crash on mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled into the kiss.
The kiss was short but sweet and passionate. I leaned my forehead against his and breathed in his scent.
'Thank you,' I thought while looking at him while his eyes were closed and his forehead was leaning on mine. 'You're more than anything I could ever ask for...'
