After you had fixed James's burn up and Torracat had shown her affection, you settled down on the sofa. As soon as you sat down, however, the phone began to ring. "Hello?" You picked it up carefully.
"Hello, Y/N. Kukui here."
"Hi! How was school?"
"Not so good. Team Skull decided to attack and some of the school is destroyed. I'll have to work late to help fix it."
"Oh, dear! What about Ash and Emily? Are they ok?"
"They're fine, but they've insisted on staying and helping out too."
"I see. If you need any extra help, I'm here."
"I think we'll be ok. You need your rest. I'll call you when we're going to come home."
"Ok, Professor. Bye."
"Bye!"
You hit the hang up button and placed it back on its holder. "Who was it?" James asked as you sat back down on the sofa. "Professor Kukui. He said that Team Skull attacked the school and some of it has fallen down, and they'll be back later. He'll call me when they're leaving so we've got as log as it takes for them to make it safe again." You explained. "Ok, cool." You let his arm wrap around your waist and pull you gently into him. Your head came to rest on his chest comfortably. There wasn't much on the TV.

You were scrolling through the channels to find something to watch when something caught your eye. "The Clock On The Wall." You read aloud. "It's a horror movie. Apparently it's really good." James explained. You nodded and clicked on it. It'd just started. You sat watching it for a while, probably an hour. You'd honestly lost track of time; the film was so good. The protagonist was now running from the stalker, but as she got to the bottom of the stairs the other one was waiting for them. Then the screen blacked out and a scream was heard. "Ah!" You shouted with it in terror, and found yourself squeezing James's hand. "Sorry. I think I've... Stopped your circulation." He chuckled and turned to look at you. You released his slightly but didn't let go. For the 3rd time that day, you found yourself staring into his emerald eyes. "When did you say the Professor would be back?" James asked. "He'd call." Your gaze wasn't broken as you spoke. "Then I guess I'll have time to do this." Before you could reply, your lips were suddenly occupied. You were surprised at first, but soon closed your eyes and kissed him back. His strong palms pressed into your back and your arms were now resting on his shoulders. You never wanted this moment to end. But soon, you needed oxygen again. You slowly pulled away and smiled up at him. "Yeah, I guess you had time to do that."

The rest of the evening was spent watching the Clock On The Wall, much to your delight. But then the moment fell apart when the phone began to ring. "Hellooooooooooo?" You said sleepily into it.
"Hi, Y/N. Kukui again."
"Hey Professor. How's the school?"
"Stable, but the rest of the construction will happen tomorrow."
"Cool."
"I'm coming home now, Y/N. You sound awfully sleepy. Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Busy day, that's all."
"Ok. I'll see you in a minute."
"Ok, bye!"
Then you hung up and placed it back in its place. "The Professor's coming home." You said. "Ok, I'd better get going then." James said, standing up and stretching before making his way to the hall. You followed him and opened the door. "Bye, James." You said. "Goodbye Y/N. Thanks for not killing me horribly." He laughed and planted a quick kiss on your cheek. You smiled and blushed slightly, but it was getting dark so luckily he didn't notice. You saved him off like a small child, before closing the door and doing a victory dance.
