People don't use radios anymore. What a shame. They were once the rate of an era, and now they're obsolete. As well as cassette tapes and radio stations. But to many of their distaste, I use them anyway. Of course, there are no radio stations left, but I host my own anyway, though no one has a technology to listen anymore.

I call it Infinity, my station. Nothing can last forever, but it's a nice thing to think about.

Existence couldn't be infinite either, as I was witnessing it.

The space base the union had built on Ganymede, Jupiter's largest moon, was where I lived. I'm the only one there. Besides for me and my space base, it's uninhabited.

I sat on my old lawn chair. I brought it with me from earth. At my feet laid the radio. I switched the station to Infinity.

My singer friend had died and one of the star explosions of The End. Prior to his passing he released an album called "Ending" as he knew that this would be his last.

I have this song on the radio as stars in the distance exploded. Alien-made goggles help me see light years away to the real time destruction of the universe. Supernovas exploded black holes were created and millions of extra terrestrial species died.

I looked at my home sun. Star 5460 had swelled up and absorbed Mercury and Venus. We had territories filled with millions of civilians there.

All dead.

5460 swallowed Earth and Mars and in it's endless reign of destruction headed towards Ceres, the small world near the asteroid belt.

The end was nearing and there was nothing I could do except sit and wait for the incoming supernova to blast me to bits.

I felt the sun's heat getting closer at Ceres left existence. What a shame. Ceres was a good friend.

The sun was still and stayed no doubt the chemicals inside bubbling and boiling over until...

In my last few seconds of life I lifted off my helmet as Ending finally made sense to me.

We are all destined to die in The End.
