"Demi, dinners ready." my mom yelled from downstairs.
"Okay, I'll be down in a second." I yelled back. I woudn't be down in a second though. I was way too tired to get up. Let alone walk down the stairs without falling.
I laid there for a full 2 minutes just staring at the ceiling-yes I was counting. To my defense I was extremely bored. When I said I was tired I was physically tired. Not mentally. I had no energy to get up. I didn't even have enough energy to grab my phone and check twitter or something.
"Demi, hurry up!" Maddie yelled this time. I didn't bother yelling back this time. It was too tiring. I'm sure one of them would have enough sense to come up here and get me. And it turned out to be Marissa.
"Demi, you have 5 seconds to get up, so we can eat. We've been waiting for 10 minutes and my stomach is eating itself." she yelled barging into my room. It's okay don't knock.
"5 more minutes please?'' I begged even though that still wouldn't have been enough time.
"No, now get up." she stated pulling me up from the bed. Oh god, it felt like she was yanking my arm out of it's socket.
"Ow, ouch. Please let go." I shreiked. She immdiantly let go and backed up a little.
"Sorry, sorry. Are you okay?"
"No. I haven't been this tired since forever." I whispered. I was really close to tears and I didn't even know why.
"Okay, just sit up here and take a nap I'll tell your parents what's going on.'' she said pulling the covers over me. Once again I didn't have the energy to respond. I had already closed my eyes ready to go to sleep. I heard her open the door and walk out after she sighed.
I'm assuming I went to sleep soon after she walked out because I woke up to Marissa nudging me softly.
"How are you feeling?" she asked when I open my eyes.
"Like shit." I muttered.
"You look like it too. You need a vacation." she stated.
"I am on vacation idiot." I mused ignoring her previous comment.
"I mean a real vacation away from everyone. How about we go see a new part of the world. It's not even that far away." she beamed.
"Where could that possibly be, Rissa?" I asked sitting up.
"Houston."

I walked next to Alex while she lead me to her house. Which I'm assuming was across the street. When we got there she opened the door and led me to a stool. I sat down and asked "Do you mind if I let him roam around, so he can know where everything is?"
"Yeah, sure. As long as he won't chew up anything." she said with a chuckle. I giggled a little too. Slightly because I wasn't sure if he chewed on things. I mean if he did I'm pretty sure it was things I didn't use much or I would've felt his teeth marks on something by now.
"He won't. You can go Tommy." I said. I didn't have to finish the sentence before he ran off.
"So, I'm assuming you have tons of questions to ask about my eyes." I spoke after a while of silence.
"I actually don't. Well besides why you keep them closed and you said that question was for another day. So I guess I'm stuck waiting." she said as if she didn't really care.
"Uh, I-I-okay." I stuttered. That's not usually how it happens, but who am I to judge.
"I have a feeling you weren't expecting that." she chuckled slightly again.
"Well of course I wasn't. It's like Superman just swooped in a saved the day. Not something you'd expect." I mumbled, waving my arms around.
"So I'm Superman?" she asked and I'm pretty sure she was smirking.
"I didn't say that."
"But you implied it."
"I'm going home.'' I yelled.
"No, no I'm sorry." she said laughing.
"Tommy!"
"NO! I'll stop I swear." she said laughing slightly.
"Whatever." I mumbled, pouting. I was to getting laughed at. Even though it didn't affect me I still didn't enjoy it.
After that we just sat in silence. You could only hear our breathing, Tommy's panting in a near by room, and her tearing the tape on boxes then shuffling with whatever was inside. It was kind've peaceful. I was used to be alone with Tommy all the time besides visiting and getting visits from my parents every now and then. And truth be told it felt good being alone.
Everything got really quiet. Too quiet.
"BOO!"
I freaked out and swung. It was my first instinct. I mean what was I supposed to do? Scream? That totally would've affected'them.
"Oof!" they yelled when I my fist made contact with what I'm assuming was their stomach. I knew it was Alex. Who else would it be. But of course I wouldn't tell her that.
"Why would you do that?" she yelled.
"Why would you do that?" I shrieked.
"It was supposed to be funny not painful." she wheezed out.
"Your mistake." I shrugged.
{Okay, I got one comment and it was enough to motivate me to write some more. Sorry it took so long though and sorry this is short. Guys 1 comment and 1 vote. That's all it takes. Buh-bye}
