11:11 make a wish. (I wish I was good at keeping up with my schedule.)
(Y/N) gazed down at the water. Her hands rested on the rail of the wooden bridge. Koi drifted along the gentle streams, orange and red flicking through the murky depths.
(Y/N) exhaled softly, watching the fish. Her thoughts wandered to her room in the Haunted Mansion. She hadn't finalized any plans yet, she had a vague idea, but that wasn't going to get her anywhere.
She swiveled away from the edge, a new plan in mind.
- A few minutes later -
"Shinso! Shinso?"
(Y/N) swung her head around, searching for the lavender haired man. She found him sitting on a nearby park bench, scrolling idly on his phone.
She smirked.
Without making a sound, she circled around and crept up behind him. She inched forward slowly, hardly daring to breathe.
"Don't even try it (y/n)."
Said girl slumped, resting her hands on his shoulders. Shinso tilted his head to look up at her, a lazy grin overtaking his face.
"Whatcha doin'?"
"I was sneaking up on you."
"Is that what that was?"
(Y/N) huffed softly and gave him a gentle flick in response. He chuckled.
"Alright, alright, come sit." To emphasize, Shinso patted the bench next to him.
(Y/N) circled the bench and sat, opting to lean against her boyfriend. Shinso shifted so they were both more comfortable, then returned to his questioning.
"Was there something you wanted?"
"Actually um..."
"Come on N/N, you can ask me."
("N/N" means "nickname")
"... What's your class doing for the festival?"
"Huh? Oh. Technically we're not supposed to tell."
(Y/N) tilted her head up and gave him puppy dog eyes, helped a tad by her hand, which had grasped his and was tracing small circles on his knuckles.
Shinso hesitated, then looked down at her. (Y/N) could see the moment he broke.
"We're doing some kind of bake sale. The classmates who can't bake are dressing up and giving out the sweets."
"Oh! That sounds good, I'll have to drop by. I'll even get to see you... What's your costume going to be?"
"A vampire," he said dryly.
(Y/N) moved to punch him lightly in the arm.
"I meant, how are you going to dress up considering your... abilities?"
Shinso hummed, placing a small kiss on her forehead, since she had turned to lean against him again.
"I don't know, I've got time. How about you then? What's the infamous Class 1-A doing?"
"Ooohh, top secret stuff."
Unbeknownst to (Y/N), Shinso smirked.
"Oh come on... I told you mine, it's only fair you tell me yours now."
(Y/N) froze, "you cruel mother-"
"Watch your language!" The words were teasing now.
(Y/N) glared up at him but they held no real malice. She was very effectively under his spell now. She shook her head, trying to clear it, but eventually gave up.
"Fine! We're doing a kind of Haunted Mansion. Everyone gets their own rooms and then we come together at the end for the big finale. I've been trying to think of something to do, but I keep coming up blanks. All I know is that I want it to have something to do with ancient ruins."
Shinso blinked, processing all the knew information.
He frowned down at (y/n), who was pouring now, and thought it over. A few ideas came to mind, but he knew what he really needed to say.
"I'm sure you'll think of it."
"That's helpful."
"If I told you what to do it would defeat the whole purpose of creating something unique. Plus, I have faith that you can figure out something creative all by yourself."
There was a pregnant pause in the conversation, until... "You're right."
Shinso smiled, a genuine one, and leaned down to give (y/n) another peck on the forehead.
At the last second (Y/N) switched positions and caught his kiss on the lips. When he pulled back and shook his head she laughed.
They relaxed for a while more, trading kisses and laughing in the crisp fall air.
Until of course, (y/n) saw a stray cat and went chasing after it, causing Shinso to follow.
I too, have problems deciding on things, I too would underestimate myself, I too would follow a random kitty, try to befriend it, and possibly take it home. :3 Hope you enjoyed, baiiii.
