CHAPTER 14
"Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" Fairy Godmother says as she unfreezes everyone. "Rawrrrrr" Ben says as he runs forward. "Okay, okay!" Gabby says as she puts a hand on his chest stopping him. "We kinda got this all wrapped up here." Gabby smiles at Ben as he looks around before he picks her up and spins her around. "Next time, I rescue you, okay?" Ben says causing Gabby to laugh. "Yeah. Let's not let there be a next time, okay?" Gabby says before hugging Ben and turning his crown to the side. Gabby then notices Fairy Godmother scolding Jane. She nudges Mal, who nods her head. "I will be right back." "I love you. But you are on a major time-out," Fairy Godmother tells Jane as Mal and Gabby approach. "Don't be too hard on Jane. I was the one who put all that crazy stuff in her head," Mal says. "You are beautiful... Inside and out," Gabby says as she takes Jane's hand. "Your mom got that right." "I guess I did get pretty lucky in the parent department," Jane says. "Yeah, I guess so," Gabby agrees. They walk off and Mal leaves to protect her mother. Audrey steps towards Gabby before Gabby bows to her which Audrey returns the bow. "Careful! That's my mom!" Mal says as they put the dias over her. Ben, Gabby, Evie, Carlos, Jay, and Mal all stand together. "Well, let's get this party started!" Jay says. "Ohayohay, hey" They all cheer. Ben is carried outside to the party. "Oh, yeah Oh, yeah, yeah" Mal sings. "Let's set it off" Evie sings. "Oh, yeah Set it off you can make it happen" Gabby sings as they set Ben down on the stage. "Ohayohay, hey" Everyone sings. "Kings and Queens, It's our time to rise Write the book, the story of our lives This is us taking back the night" Ben sings as everyone dances around him. " Ohayohay" Everyone sings. "Break the spell, we were born this way Be yourself, forget the DNA Everybody raise your hands and say" Gabby sings as she makes her way over to Ben. "Ohayohay, hey" Everyone sings. "Sound the alarm, get on your feet Let's set it off and rock this beat Dance till your heart is wild and free" Evie sings as she dances through people and with Doug. "Ooh, Oh, Oh" Everyone sings. "Feelin' the power, let it all out Like what you see in the mirror, shout We got the keys, the kingdom's ours" Evie sings as she dances with Doug before they make their way over to Gabby and Ben. "Ooh, Oh, Oh, ohayohay, hey Let's set it off Oh, yeah Start a chain reaction, never let it stop Let's set it off Oh, yeah You can make it happen with everything you got Let's set it off Set it off Come on We got to set it off On the right Get ready, set it off To the left Ohayohay, hey" Everyone sings as Ben, Gabby, Evie, and Doug dance together. "Yo, It's time to set this thing off Let's make it happen now I'm a make my own future, ignore all the rumors Show 'em how passion sound," Carlos sings as he and Jay sit beside Jane. "They all told me I should back down Judgin' me 'cause of my background Thinkin' 'bout changin' my path now Nah, I ain't goin' out like that now" Jay sings as he and Carlos lead Jane to the stage. "Feelin' the power, let it all out Like what you see in the mirror, shout," Mal sings as she struts over to Jay before they join everyone on stage. "We got the keys, the kingdom's ours" Ben sings. "Ooh, Oh, Oh Oh, yeah Let's set it off Oh, yeah Let's set this off Start a chain reaction, never let it stop Let's set it off Let's set this off Oh, yeah Let's set this off You can make it happen with everything you got Let's set it off Let's set it off Come on We got to set it off That's right Get ready, set it off To the left We got to set it off Get ready, set it off We got to set it off Get ready, set it off Come on Three, two, one, uh" Everyone sings and dances before Ben leads Gabby off of the stage and tries to kiss her but she turns her head away at last minute. They head in different directions before meeting up on the balcony. "Ooh, yeah" Gabby sings. "Let's set it off" Everyone sings. "Oh, yeah" Ben sings as he and Gabby stare at each other. "Let's set this off Start a chain reaction, never let it stop Let's set it off Let's set this off Oh, yeah Let's set this off You can make it happen with everything you got Let's set it off Get ready, set it off Come on We got to set it off To the left Get ready, set it off To the right We got to set it off What?" Everyone sings before they all stop to bow to Ben and look at the fireworks. Ben touches his forehead to Gabby's as he holds her close. "Ohayohay, hey Let's set it off, Oh, yeah Start a chain reaction..." Everyone sings. Gabby looks out at all of her friends having fun before looking away from them all with a smirk.
"Oh, I was having so much fun, I almost forgot. You didn't think this was the end of the story, did you?"
