Our Happily Ever After

Chapter 5: After Shock

Ben's PoV:
     Well... that was certainly one way for Prom to go down. Once Tiffany had disappeared the few lights came back on as everyone basically just stood there in shock. I'll admit that even I was shocked, and even as king I had no idea what to do.
      My mother and Fairy Godmother made the announcement to all of the shaken up students that the Prom would continue on and those who wanted to stay could, but anyone who wanted to leave had that option. Of course a few students left to go lock themselves in their dorm or to do whatever. In reality the green fairy hadn't made an actual threat, but the Auradonians knew enough from the past that a threat was on the horizon.
      I took my chance and walked to Parker with Mal in toe. "Parker, what do you know of Tiffany?" He looked away from his date, Arabella Esther (Ariel and Eric's youngest child).
"All I can tell you is what my parents told me. And that is that Tinkerbell loved my father, but never verbally expressed it. Instead, she did everything for him to make his life easier, I guess he never thanked her for any of it. And she showed how much it hurt her through jealousy towards my mom and her stubbornness. I had never met or had even seen her daughter before today. But, I had heard that she was just as stubborn and attitude ridden as her mother and most likely a whole lot more crazy." I thanked Parker for his help and left him and Arabella to do their own thing.
The music had started back up and everyone was trying to have fun while getting back to normal. However, I'm sure they felt as I did, uneasy and worried. Sure, that's not how a king was supposed to feel, but that whole scene just came out of the blue! I turned to Mal and offered a small smile. We looked to see her friends on the dance floor once again.
Turning back to her, I bowed in a non serious tone and extended my hand to her basically asking her if she wanted to dance.

*Time skip to the next day...*
Mal's PoV:
I awoke next to Ben in our bed, I'm pretty sure I'd only gotten an hour of sleep. Next to me Ben was already awake. He simply sat straight up in bed starring into the darkness. Still laying on my stomach I turned to look at my phone. It was 7:30 am and I had only about 100 texts and missed calls from my friends.
Sitting up with Ben I laid my head on his shoulder. "So what do we do?" He took a deep breath. "We continue on as normal until she makes a formal threat or shows up again, I suppose." I nodded on his muscular shoulder.
     "Well in that case I'm going to go take a shower." I got up out of bed and made my way to our bathroom, before I could close the door Ben raced in to join me.
We hung out towels and brushed our teeth while the water warmed. Stripping out or pjs I could tell we were both eyeing one another's naked bodies. Yes we had done other things, but were waiting to go all the way until we were married, a decision we had made together. The shower was nice. We did what we had to do, which was easy because there was two shower heads so we didn't have to take turns. But we mostly stood under the warm water, he didn't like it as hot as I did, and held eachother close.
Once we got out we dried off and covered ourselves in our royal robes, mine was purple and his was blue, they were early wedding gifts from his parents along with the towels. My hair was warped in my towel, he just shook his wet hair in my direction. I laughed at him and hit him playfully on the chest. With that we made our way to our separate walk in closets. I dressed in a simple outfit as did he, I also used my magic to do my hair for the day.
"What would you like to do today m'lady?" He asked taking me in his arms and kissing my forehead. I looked up to him, "I think I just wanna go see my friends, do you wanna come with?" He nodded in response. I texted Evie to see where everyone was. She texted back quickly letting me know that everyone was in the boys dorm since they hadn't moved out yet. I relayed the information to Ben and we quickly left the castle to head to Auradon Prep. The streets were bare, other than a few people here and there, but I'm guessing people were preparing for whatever was to possibly come.

Jay's PoV:
The main six of us (Carlos, Jane, Evie, Doug, Lonnie, and myself) were chilling in the dorm I shared with Carlos. I guess you could say we were chillen like villains. I think for the most part we were still trying to unwind from last night.
I understood why everyone else was so shaken, but for the most part Tiffany was harmless. I remembered that from the Isle. I'm not sure how well my other friends knew her back then, but I guess you could say I knew her well... considering the fact that we had a thing.
      I remember it all being very weird. She was very whiny and very needy. But, she had a rockin body and kept me satisfied. Not to mention she never shut up about the Pan family, especially Parker. Maybe that's why she focused more on him and never looked at me....
       I was pulled from my thoughts when our door opened, it was my sister and the King. We all smiled and waved, but no one got up and we were all silent. "Wooowww, no 'her royal purpleness' or anything..." Her mouth was in an o shape and her green eyes were wide.
      "Sorry it's a little hard to be chipper right now. No one of us got much sleep. And I think Audrey and Harry went back to her parents' castle..." I pulled Lonnie closer to me on my bed. "Well on another note, you boys should really consider packing and planning to move since we graduate in a week?" Carlos and I looked over at Ben where he and Mal sat on the other couch across from E and Doug.

Carlos' PoV:
     "About that...last night Jane and I discussed living together and she asked me to move into her apartment in town." I spoke up to everyone and kissed the back of Jane's head, she giggled making my heart flutter.
     "Jane! I thought we were gonna share that place!" Lonnie exclaimed, but really didn't sound super upset. "It's okay princess. Now we can find a place...I mean if you want?" Jay tried to comfort Lonnie and by the way she kissed him in response, I'm gonna say she was on board with that plan.
      "So does anyone have anything they want to do today?" I asked, but was interrupted by a knock on the door. Jay yelled that it was open and in walked Uma, Harry, Dizzy, Audrey, and Chad. "Gosh guys, thank god we have a big dorm!" They all laughed at my words. Audrey and Harry were awkwardly holding hands...gross. But who were any of us to judge?
  "Well actually now that all of the girls are here, I thought we could take off and unwind with some shopping and maybe I could finish your dresses for graduation?" Evie piped up from the couch. Everyone except for Mal seemed really into that idea, but she rolled her eyes and went with them anyway.
