It's been a while since I've finished this story. Thanks to everyone who have read this since then. This is one of the first books I wrote here in Wattpad so it has a special place in my heart. It was written around the same time with my still on-going books: Hail the Queen of Engineering! and An Angel's Torment.

As I've said in the preface, this story was inspired by the smut manga of the same title by DRAW TWO. That said, though the premise was based from it, I steered clear from the behaviors of the characters, provided more backstory, and made it more emotional.

As a writer, I want my readers to examine my narrative and look beyond the words I presented them. Sometimes when I'm writing, I think about putting in some notes in between so my readers will follow what I want them to understand. But it will remove the thrill or satisfaction of learning the actual circumstances of the events presented in the story. Hopefully with this, I can give you a proper rundown of everything and provide insight on the inner workings of the story. Some of you may have pieced things together or you will learn about them for the first time.

Technical Difficulty
Before I get into the nitty gritty, did you notice that the chapters are around 900-1200 words?

It's because I was using a low-end phone that time and my phone bugs down when I hit the 1000th word mark. It will freeze for a few seconds so I needed to wait for it to function again before I can write some more.

Looking back, it worked for me because it forced me to make the story more concise and really plan out the chapter well. There are some chapters that switches POV from those at the altar and the peeping Wayo. I needed to define the balance between the two vantages to make it more interesting.

The Moon Goddess Ritual
The real reason why I wanted to write this commentary is because I received a handful of comments stating something along the lines of: "It's good but they had sex in front of people."

After which, I do a massive eyeroll. 🙄🙄🙄 Yes, 3 massive eyerolls.

Because clearly, they didn't look past beyond the scene and just accepted it as sex. They didn't see it as two people in love uniting after all the hardship they endured together.

Beam and Forth's Sacrifice
I've made an effort to provide the backstory of the Vongviphan family to give a glimpse of how much Beam had sacrificed for Wayo. He basically became a parent at the tender age of 18 and had forgo college to raise Wayo. It was also hard for him since he was born as an Omega and, in there world, job opportunities for undergraduate Omegas are virtually nil. It will be the same fate for Wayo if he will not be able to finish college.

The main reason Beam volunteered to become the Vessel was to spare Wayo from it. As mentioned in the storyline, if no Omega volunteers, all of age Omegas will be eligible to be chosen from a raffle.

Likewise, the reason Forth chose to become the Moon Hunter is because of Beam. Remember that, he proposed to Beam in their anniversary on a cruise. But Beam declined it because he wanted to be the vessel. Both Forth and Beam knew that the vessel will be paired with the Moon Hunter. And Forth, deciding to be the Moon Hunter, shared the burden of Beam's decision, albeit delaying his plans to settle down with him.

Not to mention, their soul binding ritual was showcased for everyone to see. This was referenced by Kongpob when he said that usually those things are done in private. Because it's an intimate bonding ritual for couples in their world and it that special case, the ritual bestows a soulbond.

In case you didn't know that particular term in Omegaverse, when pair is soulbonded. They cannot live without the other. When one dies, the other follows. When they are apart for too long, they both die. And this kind of pairing in Omegaverse are rare. But in this book, it's the blessing of the ritual.
