Narrator's P.O.V.

Lilly stared at everyone around her. They were all gathered at the table and began eating. Except for Lilly. For she was too nervous to eat and felt as if she would throw up. Her mother looked up at her in a concerned face before she remembered that Lilly had something to say to everyone.
"Ok everyone. Lilly has something to say and she wants everyone to hear. Lilly." Her mother looked at her and Lilly drew in a breath. She looked at her food.
"As you all know, I'm getting married to Thomas Wilson in a few weeks." Lilly heard someone take a sharp intake of a breath. "We planned that it would only be for a year, giving us time to merge companies. However, Thomas and I are changing those plans just slightly. We are deciding... to stay married." Lilly looked up just in time to see her dad stand up and slam his chair against the table. "Dad!" She yelled standing up so quickly her chair fell to the ground. Lilly ran off to catch up with her father. "Dad." She tapped his shoulder and he whipped around.
"You can't marry that man. I will not allow it!" He shouted at her.
"And you can't make that decision for me!"
"I can and I will! You are too young!"
"Aaron!" I heard a voice shout. I turned and saw my mom. She was standing in the doorway with her arms crossed and a very angry look on her face. "You know very well that Lilly is old enough to marry that man. You chose this path for her!" My mother was mad and to be honest it scared me. Even more than my dad.
"I chose her to marry this man for a year. Not for a lifetime!"
"Dad I am marrying Thomas and you can't stop me. I lov-" Lilly started to stay.
"Don't you dare finish!" Aaron shouted cutting Lilly off.
"And don't you dare cut me off. Dad I love you, but I also love Thomas. And you aren't going to do anything about it. Besides remember how much you loved mom? And how Uncle Colton hated you and didn't want her marrying anyone? Remember how he gave you a chance? Well now it's Thomas's turn to get a chance. He's kind, sweet, and amazing. Just let me be with him. Please." By the end of Lilly's speech, her voice was raw and her eyes were nearly filled with tears. Her father looked in her eyes and hugged her. She hugged back not wanting to let go.
"I don't want you hurt. I know Thomas is a good man, but I don't want to lose you." He whispered. Lilly's tears finally fell, but they weren't sad tears. They were joyful tears.

I was in my office when my PA knocked on the door. I let her in and she dropped some papers on my desk.
"I finished all of the paperwork sir. And congratulations in your marriage." She said. My PA is awesome. She is older so she doesn't hit on me like some other clients, and she gets work done quickly.
"Thank you Debra." I told her.
"Oh and you have a visitor. She's someone I think you'll want to see." I told her to let the visitor in and Debra left. In came Lilly.
"I thought you might want to catch a break." She said leaning against the wall.
"And what do you propose?" I asked.
"Well I thought I would tell my fiancée some amazing news." She told me.
"Oh? And what news is that?" Lilly walked over to me and stood in front of my chair. She was gorgeous, even though she was in a simple outfit.
"Oh just that my father approved of our mar-" I didn't give Lilly anytime to finish. I jumped up and kissed her. She kissed back, and wrapped her arms around my neck. Still kissing her, I lifted Lilly on my desk. I pulled away and Lilly brought her hand and played with the hair on the nape of my neck.
"I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too." She leaned her forehead against mine as she told me that she loved me. Even though we had already told each other that we love each other, it still felt amazing to hear it. I played with the end of her shirt and slid and hand under it. "Uh uh uh." She scolded. "If you want this to continue we better go somewhere more private. And no cameras." She played with my tie and looked into my eyes.
"Needy aren't you?" I teased.
"Hey I didn't say no did I? I just don't want to give people a show." I laughed and then her bridal style. Lilly shrieked and I laughed once more. I carried her to my car and set her in. I went in right after her, shut the door, and slammed lips onto hers. I leaned closer to her rubbing my hands up and down her sides. She moaned and gripped my hair. I slid my hands under her shirt and felt her smooth skin against my hands. My mouth moved away from hers to her neck and I started biting. Lilly moved away. "No hickeys." She said. I gave her a pouty lip, but Lilly just shook her head no. I sighed pulled away. I got into the driver's seat and drove home. "Wait, what about my car?" Lilly asked.
"I'll have someone get it." That was my only response.

I was in the kitchen making dinner and waiting for Thomas to come out of his room. He was changing into something more comfortable, given that he was in a suit. I had decided to make chicken with a salad. I had just put the chicken in the oven when Thomas came out. He walked over to me and placed his lips on mine.
"Hello my flower." He greeted after pulling away. He put his arms around my waist drawing me close. I smiled and placed my hands on his shoulders.
"Why are you so happy?" I asked him.
"I don't know. Maybe because we are getting married next week." He told me. I blushed deeply.
"Well I have to finish making the salad. Can you set the table?" Thomas groaned and pecked my lips.
"Why can't we just order pizza? But fine, I'll do it." I laughed as he set the table with silverware. I finished the salads and chicken and we sat down to eat. "You said your father approve of our marriage, but how did the news go down." I chuckled and leaned back in my seat.
"He was not happy. He stood up and slammed his chair against the table storming off. I tried to calm him, but my mother had to step in. I reminded him of how my grandfather and my uncle didn't want him and my mother together and that seemed to make him allow it. However, he probably does not like you very much." I joked.
"As long as we're getting married I can't complain. Thank you Lilly."
"For what?" Confusion was written all over my face.
"Everything."

Wedding is the next chapter!! I'm so excited and sad that Thomas and Lilly's love story is coming to an end. Thank you for reading!!
