Stanford hurried back into the kitchen, fearful for his family, Billy's words in mind "Dipper! What was that dream about!?" he asked quickly, panic in his mind. Dipper looked up from his breakfast, confused and rather shocked at the man's outburst, but he quickly spoke "I, I, uh, I was awake, in my bed, and I heard a n-noise, and Billy came out of the floorboards, real big and scary looking, and attacked me, I think he killed me" the boy said looking scared, Mabel patted his back comfortingly "All right, that's it, you're going home" Stanford said "Go pack your things, quickly now!" he added pointing to the attic direction.
The twins hurried off "BILLY!" Stanford yelled "COME HERE!" the shack was silent, save for the pipes, creaking and groaning. The one above the sink let out a loud screech and shook. Stanford stepped back as it burst, a torrent of ink spraying from the crack, all over everything.
Stanford grabbed the tea towel from over the oven handle and inched over to it, getting soaked in the dark liquid as he did so. He blindly reached out and wrapped the fabric around the crack, sealing it off to a small drip, the 'plunk plunk' of the ink dripping down into the sink made the shack suddenly feel awful empty "BILLY!!!" he yelled. He heard a distant chuckle, but the demon didn't appear.

Dipper and Mabel hurriedly packed their belongings "Why do you think we have to leave Dipper?" Mabel asked as she shoved her clothes and stuff pell mell into her sparkly pink suitcases. Dipper frowned "Because that demon wants us out of here? He's acting strange, it's worrying Grunkle Ford," Dipper said, closing the lid of his suitcase and waiting for his sister to finish. He looked down at the cracks of the floor, remembering the dream, the way the ink had bubbled up.
Much like it was doing now.
Dippers eyes widened "Uh, oh" the boy jumped off the bed and grabbed his sister's arm, not bothering with their luggage, and pulled her out the room as quickly as he could.
Billy, who had fully formed let out an annoyed screech and turned into ink, pouring down the stairs after them "GRUNKLE FORD!" Dipper yelled, the man looked up from cleaning ink off himself, gasping as he noticed Billy forming, rather big, behind them "Kids! Stay behind me!" the man said, the twins raced behind him, watching Billy horrified "BILLY STOP! YOU'RE SCARING THE KIDS!"
"Good, I want them gone! They don't belong here" Billy said, his voice low and growly, he stretched his mouth into a huge grin and chuckled "Or you can just let me get rid of them myself?" he asked reaching out for them, his fingers were clawed, dripping with ink. Mabel and Dipper shrank back behind their Grunkle shaking slightly "Let me take them home Billy, then it can be just you and me again, like I promised" the demon stopped stretching out for them, pondering the words, before he hissed "You still lied to me!!" the demon growled, turning back in to ink. Stanford grabbed the twins and hurried through the house, trying to find a safe place.
The Study! Something in there could help!
~
He bolted the door shut, and the twins sat on the desk panting, afraid and covered in ink. "Grunkle Ford I'm scared" Mabel said clutching her arms "I know Pumpkin, I'm sorry, but I'm going to fix this, I promise" Stanford said, rummaging around, where was that damn book!
Dipper glanced at the ink machine, making a small squeak noise as he saw Billy inside it, floating in the ink and peering through with a grin as he pressed himself up against the glass, he had found them "Uh, Grunkle Ford!?" Dipper asked his voice a little high
"Hang on Dipper" the man said waving a hand at him, the boy grabbed his sister's hand as the machine shook and they got off the desk, inching away from the machine slowly "Grunkle Ford!!!"
Stanford looked up. "What!?"
Dipper pointed to the machine, Stanford looked to where he was pointing, his eyes widened, he saw the book underneath his desk and grabbed it just as the machine exploded, ink pouring out in a tidal wave. Billy giggled evilly as he used that ink to grow.
"You can't hide from me! The ink is everywhere! I can see EVERYTHING!!" Billy screamed. Stanford opened the book, eyes glancing over the pages as he tried to find something to counteract Billy's creation, or anything that could help them, the demon growled "HOW DARE YOU IGNORE ME! YOU LIED TO ME FATHER! LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!" the demon yelled, lunging for them. Stanford threw the book at him and grabbed the twins, racing out the door and through the house.
They tumbled out the door and onto the grass, hearts racing and adrenaline in their veins "In the car, now!" Stanford said pointing to the white yute parked on the grass. The twins complied.
Mabel was still in her nightgown, the purple fabric covered in ink, while Dippers pajamas were still soaked through, partially dry, his breakfast curled in his stomach and made him feel sick "I'm taking you home, hopefully, once I return, Billy will have calmed down" the man said, putting on his seat belt and starting the car. The twins held hands, staring fearfully at the house "I'm sorry for putting you through all that, I shouldn't have made him, it's my fault" the man said as they drove out on to the highway, his fingers gripped the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles white "We forgive you Grunkle Ford" Mabel said, Dipper smiled "Yea, everyone makes mistakes."
