I was revising my next chapter after "Pha" and I just realize that Beam's flashback was never published I apologize for the inconvenience I hope you enjoy it. Looks like you will be getting four updates from me. Please give me your feedback on the Pha. Thank you. Also fixing my titles.

Beam feels his ring around his neck. He wears it as a reminder of why he was alone.

Beam POV

(Six and half years ago)

Currently, in Forth apartment, he's had it since he graduated school. He still hasn't found a full-time job yet but he said he's waiting before he makes a big decision. I wonder if he plans to go far or out of the country. There have been many companies offering him jobs. What can I say his an amazing man who graduated with two of hardest engineer majors, he's a two for one package. Any company would be lucky to have him. I haven't even decided where my internship is going to be. Almost done with medical school well that's if I pass my final exams. I need to get back to studying. That's why I'm here.

"Beam" Forth calls me.

"Yes"

"Have you decided where your internship is going to be?" he asked me while setting the table for dinner. Smells good whatever he's making, I'm getting hungry part of the reason he makes me study here because he would feed me to make sure I stay healthy. One of the benefits.

"Nope, I haven't decided" It's not that I haven't look it just I was offered a chance to study in the best hospital in the U.S along with Kit and Pha but Kit turned it and we know it was because of Ming even if Kit won't admit it.

"Okay I just need to know soon"

"How come?"

"Because where ever you go I would like to work nearby you" he's waiting for me to decide.

"Why," I ask him as I get up to get near him.

"Because when you start your internship you're going to be extremely busy and we might not get to see each other often and to make sure you stay healthy I want to be close." He's making his decision just so he can take care of me when I don't take care of myself.

But what if I chose the U.S. internship. Forth turns the stove off and then places the plates on the table along with the salad. I have to ask him. "Forth"

"Yup" he looks at me as he walked back into the kitchen.

"I was given the opportunity along with Pha and Kit to intern at Grey-Sloan Memorial..."

"its best school in the U.S." he looks at me, how did he know the name, "Ming told me about it one day, he mentioned that it was Kit's dream hospital to intern at" he's not wrong "Have they accepted?"

"Pha hasn't given an answer and Kit already rejected the moment he was asked."

"What about you?"

"I haven't said anything I wanted to talk to you about it first" he looks away from me.

"What is there to talk about, your taking the internship" he grabs the pot and places it on the table.

"Wait what" did he just say he wants me to leave.

"It's one of the best teaching hospitals in their country, you can learn from some of the best surgeons in the world, why wouldn't you accept it" he has a point.

"But that will involve me leaving"

"I know" does he not care.

"Meaning I would be moving to the other side of the world" he still doesn't see it. Does he want me to leave him, now I'm getting mad I can feel the tears starting to come out "It means I will be away from you"

"No, it just means I have to find a company that has a branch in the U.S. so I can transfer one day."

"You plan on moving too."

"Of course why wouldn't I, why wouldn't I follow my wifey across the world" he kisses my cheek and smiles. I really don't like it when he calls me that. He grabs my hand "Beam I want you to have the best chances to learn from the best so one day you will become the best" how can I feel so much love with just a few words. "I love you Beam."

"I love you too" I pull him for a kiss. Then he pulled me in tight and kiss me back. The kiss was passionate filled with so much love. I can feel all the love he has for me with just a kiss. The kiss began to heat up a little. I started taking his shirt off but he stopped me. "What's wrong?"

"The food, it's going to get cold if we continue this and I know you don't like your food getting cold." He knows me better than anyone.

"I don't care" I pulled back into a kiss. I pull his shirt off and he unbuttons mine as we walk to the bed. He lays me gently. He just looks into my eyes and me into his. So much love with a stare. I want to be his, I let him take me and we have sex all night.
