1.8-Wake Up

3rd PoV

"Kate!" Peter calling out to her. Both he and Beth arrived towards her.

"Beth, Peter," she says but there are tears in her eyes.

"What happen?"

"I'm not 100% sure but Lam called me told me there was an explosion at work, the twins are on their way that it may not look good."

"What Ming?"

"Yo,"

"He didn't say. The twins were supposed to be with Ming. But they were separated. Lam didn't explain much."

"Let's just go down to the ER." Peter say.

The three of them get down. They look around. They find Sandee. Sandee. "Sandee!" Peter calls her. She runs to him. Peter lifts the little girl in his arms on holds her tight. "Thank goodness your alright."

"Kate we should check her out." Beth suggest.

"A doctor already saw me." She explains.

"Which doctor?"

"Doctor Pha." The three nodded. They believe trust his skills.

"What about your brother?" Beth ask. Sandee eyes get watery again.

"He went up the elevator," she points to the the surgery elevator "he went up with his two friends." The three already knew who she was talking about.

"Okay let's get you checked in and into a room."

"I want to be in the same room as my brother." She says begging.

"We will sweet heart."

"I'm gonna talk to Dr.Kepner so if I can get information." Beth says. The other two nod.

Beth walks towards the desk and sees April Kepner. "Dr.Kepner do you what happen to the patient that Dr.Kongthnim went up with."

"Uh, let's see. Seems like some of the shatter building land hard on him. They went up to repair his liver. Plus brain surgery."

"Okay thank you." Beth steps away and quickly heads up to the surgery unit.

Beth PoV

I arrived  and find the surgery room. I go in the sterilized room. I see a few nurses. "What is happening?" I asked one of the nurses there.

"I honestly don't know something has change with the patient. His stats were starting to drop." Beth looks through the window. She can barely make it Godt. Her hands on her chest. Her heart was breaking seeing a sweet little boy she cares about.

We have to open him up" Beth looks sternly through the window, "scissors and betadine."

"Why?" they both ask him.

"Were going to do a venovenous bypass"

"We can't do that he's a child" Beam stops.

"There has to be another way" Pha interjects.

"No!" Kit yells at them "we have to do this we have to save him" Kit looks at both of them. "You know why the girl blames herself" Pha and Beam look at each remembering what the little girl said "because he saved her"they must be talking about Sandee "if it wasn't for Godt pushing his sister out of the way she may have more injuries then just a hit to the head, she could look exactly like him or even worse." Kits start cutting his chest open "I'm not going to let that little girl live with guilt for the rest of her life and I'm not going to let this hero die all because he was just saving his sister, so are you going to help me or not" Kit finish opening the chest and looked at Beam.
