I was taking the twins to lunch but they wanted to see a little bit of the building more I tired to say no but then they pulled out their puppy eyes. I honestly curse at Wayo. Why did he have to give his kids his puppy eyes and what makes it harder they look cuter since their so young. I showed them around the floors that we will be passing by towards the cafeteria. Since the cafeteria is only two floors down then why not. The first floor that I showed them is the design team.
"So here is where our workers come up with their idea's. Teams will come down here to come up with different designs. Their is some materials they can use to help them. We provide them with everything they can use. Their's paper, pencils, pen, every type of measuring materials they will use. We also provide them with small rooms so they can have a quite place to work if they need it."
"Why do you have a full floor for this?" Godt ask "can they just use their own supplies?"
"Yes they can and some do but were not going to be a company that makes you use the money you earn from us. We also have all these materials just in case someone doesn't have what they need they know where to go and as for a full floor, once every quarter we have a competition for the the next project we're going to be working on and this floor gets really crowed when that happens."
"Really, when's the next competition?" Sandee is excited to know.
"Next month we will announce what we want then everyone has a month to come up with ideas. We want to have a set plan before the new year.
"Ohhh" they both said in unison.
"Okay let's go to the next floor." The three of us left and went down the stairs to be faster. As I took them into the next floor I did notice a funny smell but couldn't dictate what it was. I will let maintenance know later to check up on it. "So this floor is a sleeping room for the employee's, when the workers decide to stay really late and have to be at work super early their allowed to stay here. They're also can come during their breaks if their super tired."
"That's really cool" Sandee looked at Godt and he just nodded.
"It's still under construction." Then we all heard Sandee's stomach growling. "Okay let's go get you two something to eat."
"Can we see mama's area after?" Ming nodded. They went down to the cafeteria. They got their food and then sat down to eat.
"Uncle Ming mama said to remind you to take your pills." Ming smiled and patted Sandee's head. He then grabbed and pulled out his pills and took two of them.
"Okay let's go meet your mommy." They went down the stairs from the side.
"How come mommy works in another building?" Godt asked.
"Well because in these buildings we have all the chemicals and heavy machinery. We didn't want a tall building just in case if an accident happens it will be quicker for people to get out. And since our cafeteria is open to the public we don't want non-workers waling into those rooms."
"Where is the receptionist?" Ming was wondering. They went to the elevator but it was underwork. "Let's take the stairs." HE looked at the twins who weren't sure if they should "I'll be fine, I already took my medicine." They went up the stairs. "Do you want to where Uncle Ming will be working?"
"Ya!" They both said. They went to the second floor and walked in.
