So Close

One day later:

Harry and Nick decided to invite the boys over for dinner, including Louis so they can tell them the news. Harry called Liam first. Then Niall. And lastly, Zayn.

"Hello Zayn?" Harry said to Zayn on the phone.

"Hi Harry."

Whats up?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to invite you over for dinner today. The other boys are coming too."

"Ok, I'll come."

"And makesure to bring Louis too."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because he moved to his new house a couple of days ago and plus he probably doesn't wan't to come anyways."

"WHAT! He moved already? Did he tell you his new adress?" Harry asked with such a worried tone.

"Ya, he told me his address, but he told me not to tell you."

"Just tell me. Please?"

"Sorry Harry. I can't."

"Can you still atleast tell him to come?"

"I'll try. I can prank him there."

"Okay, sounds good. See you then." With that, Harry hung the phone. "What did he say?" Nick asked. "He's coming. And he said he'll try to bring Louis." Harry answered. 

Later that night:

Zayn drove to Louis new house and knocked on his door. After a couple of minutes, he opened the door. "Hi Louis. Can you come shopping with me please? I need to buy new shoes and I  could use your help to choose the best shoes that suits me. Please? You have to come with me. You have to." Louis had to think for a while. Then after a while of thinking, he said, "Ok. Wait here as I go get my coat." Louis went to get his coat that was lying in couch and ran back outside and locked the door. Zayn got on the drivers seat with Louis next to him. As Zayn drove to Harry's house, Louis started noticing that the road was familiar. "Zayn, I think you're going the wrong direction. This is not the way to the mall. Its that way." Louis said as he pointed to the left. "No, I'm pretty sure I'm going the right way Louis. Now shh before I make an accident." Zayn told Louis. Louis sighed and slided his head down on his seat. As Zayn drove across Harry's avenue, the roads became familiar to Louis. "Zayn, where are we going?"

"Calm down Louis, we're almost there." Zayn then parked in Harry's driveway and Louis asked, "Why are we in Harry's house?"

"Because Harry invited us over for dinner, now please stop with the talking and step out of the car."

"No. I am not going."

"You have to."

"But I don't want to."

"Fine then, I'll push you there." Zayn said as he pushed Louis out of the car. Eventually, Zayn won. Zayn held Louis hands and pushed him and dragged him towards Harry's house. Zayn knocked on Harry's door and Harry opened it. Louis and Harry met eyes but Louis quickly looked away. "Thanks for coming guys. Please come in." Zayn went inside but Louis didn't. Zayn sighed and went back outside so he can push Louis inside. The harder Zayn pushed Louis' back, the harder Louis held on to the door. "I am not going in there." Louis said as he held on to the door tightly. "Oh yes you are."

"Oh no Im not."

"Oh yes you-" Zayn said but was relieved when he finally pushed Louis inside. Harry was glad that Zayn finally pushed Louis in. Once Louis was inside, he stood in front of the door and looked over at Harry. Louis took a deep breath and sat on the couch. He really missed this house. Harry came and sat next to Louis. Louis moved to the right and Harry moved along with him. Louis moved to the right again and so did Harry. Louis was annoyed at the moment, but he didn't feel like talking nor yelling at Harry right now, so instead, he just grabbed a newspaper from the table and began reading. Then Nick yelled, "Dinner's ready boys!" Niall was the first one to go to the kitchen. Then Zayn, then Liam. That leaves Harry and Louis. Harry gently grabbed the newspaper out from Louis' hand and placed it in the table. "Lets go eat." Harry wispered to Louis as he got up and gestured Louis to get up as well. Louis sighed and went to the kitchen and sat next to Zayn. Harry sat next to Nick because unfortunately, there was no more seat next to Louis. They began eating. Everyone was talking, joking and laughing while Louis stayed quiet. He didn't bother looking up at Nick or Harry. Just then, Nick cleared his throat loudly, causing everyone to look up at him, including Louis. "Me and Harry have something to say." Nick started. "Are you guys engaged?" Niall interrupted.

"Shutup Niall" Zayn yelled, "please continue."

"I'm nervous" Harry wispered to Nick at a volume that only Nick could hear.

"I'll just say it myself then." Nick answered back.

"No! I can do it."

"Ok than. Are you ready?" Nick asked. Harry nodded in response. He took a deep breath and quickly said, "I'm pregnant." Everyone was shocked and the room was silent for a while. "And we're havimg twins." Harry finished. Louis was shocked at the fact that Harry was pregnant with twins so he had to spit out the water that he drank out of his mouth. Everyone looked over at Louis to see his reaction and they weren't pleased.

"Louis what's wrong?" Zayn asked.

"Nothing. I'm fine." Louis said as he wiped away the mess he made in the table with a tissue. Harry knew exactly what was wrong with Louis and he felt really guilty. He felt too guilty to look at Louis anymore so he just looked down instead.

"Who are you pregnant with?" Liam asked to Harry. Harry was too afraid to answer that question but he answered it anyways. "I-I'm pregnant with Nick." Harry said as he played with his hands.

"How come you aren't pregnant with Louis? I thought you guys were boyfriends." Niall asked. Harry looked up at Niall and then at Louis, who was waiting for Harry to answer that question eagerly. Then Harry looked back at Niall and answered. "We forgot to use protection when we were doing eachother and so now I'm pregnant" Harry answered nervously.

"You guys fuck?!" Niall asked, actually screamed, but hot in a harsh type of way.

 "No. Yes. No. We only did it once, okay?" Harry answered. Meanwhile, Louis couldn't handle this anymore and stood up. "Zayn, I'm tired. Take me home." Louis asked Zayn.

"Ok what ever you say."

"Y-your leaving?" Harry asked Louis.

"What does it look like?" Louis answered.

"No, don't leave now. I don't want you to leave. Please stay." Harry begged.

"I can't, I have work to do at home."

"What work?"

Louis rolled his eyes and tapped Zayn before he went to the living room and put on his coat. Harry got out of his seat and ran after Louis. When he finally caught up to him, he stopped him by grabbing his hands.

"Harry let go" Louis said as he tried pushing his hand out.

"No, I am not letting go unless you stay."

"LET GO!" Louis shouted as he tried pushing his hands out harder, and he succeded. Harry let tears slip out of his face becuase now he was positive that Louis would never come back. Louis saw Harry's tears and felt bad. He hated it when Harry was sad and whenever Harry get sad, he can't help but to hug him. So he did. He walked towards Harry and hugged him tight and Harry hugged him back. Harry sniffed into Louis' shoulders.

"It's okay." Louis wispered into Harry's ears as he kept hugging him. It felt too good to let go.

"No. Nothing is okay unless you come back to me." Harry sniffed.

Louis then let go of the hug and looked Harry in the eyes. "Look, I'm not going to come back home with you but know that I still love you."

"I'm ready Louis. Lets go!" Zayn screamed.

"Ok, coming." Louis said as he followed Zayn out the door. Before they left, Louis looked at Harry one last time and saw that tears were still streaming down his eyes. Louis couldn't leave Harry like this. He just couldn't.

"Zayn, wait one minute." Louis told Zayn. Then he went back to Harry and pulled Harry's hands up to his face.  Louis gently kissed Harry's hands. Harry wiped his tears and said, "I'll miss you a lot Louis. I'll never forget you."

"I know me too." Louis wispered back. Louis then let go and left out the door, this time without looking back at Harry. Now Harry fell to the floor and started crying because that was probably the last time he got to see Louis and now its over. He probably will never see his love again. Nick, Liam and Niall tried calming Harry down, but it didn't work. He was stuck with Nick forever now. Not to mention his kids.
