The sun glared down on the two agents clad in black suits who slid out of the bus and walked up to the orphanage. Small faces peeked out the windows and watched them, while an elderly lady watched them fearfully from the porch where she was holding open the door.

"How many do you plan on taking?" the frail lady questioned, not even bothering to resist despite knowing what was going to happen to the children that they would remove from her care. It's not like she could do anything.

"Fifty at least" the taller of the pair replied monotonously.

About half an hour later 53 children were sitting in the bus that was sweltering hot from sitting under the burning sun. There was no breeze or sound as the children sat, head hung, a few crying silently as some with or without there siblings.

A few would make it through the amounts of testing that would be placed upon them, some would come out changed, some insane, some would die willingly or not, some wouldn't even make it to the labs.

Tests after tests were going to be placed upon these kids, they would be plucked, prodded, stabbed, poked, shot, x-rayed, put under extensive learning of physical and mental subjects and left for days on end just to see what would happen.

It would all depend on who survived.
