When we get back home, we picked out several movies from the store and several from online as well as three boxes of popcorn and snacks, which turned out to be enough to feed a family a few times over. Tink prepared our relaxation area while I fixed some popcorn and got a blanket for us and pillows.
"Ok Tink what first?" I ask her popping the popcorn. "Movies now and snacks as it goes on or snacks then movie?" Thinking she says snacks first. "Good choice, nothing worse than watching a movie on an empty stomach."
"Hey boss....have you heard anything from Ms. Osborne yet?" I pause petrified as the microwave beeps to tell me the popcorn is finished.
"Bell? No..she hasn't since yesterday... We have to just wait and see when she updates us. But let's not think about that right now, let's have a nice relaxation day." I say forcing a smile as I sit beside her with the popcorn.
"First movie, Revengers: Last stand." She says giddy.

A week and a day had passed and still Travis refuses to talk to and or see me. Bell has told me she had tried to convince him to let me explain but he won't budge. He was omitted from the hospital last Tuesday morning and since then only talks to Keith who also tries to convince him but to no avail. However, it's 5:16 pm and Bell and the twins are in their way over to my house after I told her I was sick and Tink wanted a playmate. Travis no doubt is angry at this but had no choice from what Bell told me.
When they finally arrived ten minutes later Tink came to my room to tell me and I weakly got up to greet them. "Hello everyone." I say holding into the door yet waving weakly in a nauseous tone. Bell walks over now helping to hold me up.
"Geez Marshall! I knew you said you were sick but this is bad! Where is Tink is she alright?" She asks motioning Travis and Keith to enter behind her.
"Yeah she isn't sick or anything. But please watch her while you're here, she has asthma and in the winter months her asthma is of concern." I say while she leads me to the kitchen chair.
"Of course, Marshall." She looks through the cabinets and drawers with haste before final deciding to ask me "where do you keep your medicines?" I point to the literal cabinet beside the first she looked in. Blushing from embarrassment she goes to it bringing me some Tylenol and water. "Here take this." She hands them to me but I don't only slide them to the side.
"Those don't work on me. I only have them for when Tink gets sick." She looks at me confused while I cough into my hand. Wanting an answer, I tell her why. "Unlike the rest of my family I have a peculiar type of genotype. Due to this allot of common medicines don't work on me so whenever I get sick it is very bad. Tink wanting a playmate aside I didn't want to have anything happen to me while she was alone..." I shrug and place my head on the table.
"Is there anything I can do?" I shake my head knowing there isn't. "Is it genetic? Because the twins have a similar thing with some medicines, the doctors could never pin down why, but only few."
I shrug again "it's possible. That condition is why got into Gene manipulation, to try and fix it." I get up turning my head to see Travis sitting in the chair farthest in the corner while Keith played with Tink. "Sigh, to recapitulate, he hates me fully." I say holding in another cough.
Bell Pat's my shoulder as she leads me to my bedroom upstairs. "Only time will tell if he stops." I give her a fake smile before thinking of that word in my head. If.
oOo
This bullcrap why do I have to be here?! I made it very clear I want nothing to do with him! "Travis come here." My brother Keith says.
