I was trapped. Inside of the secret air lock on the ship. I don't know what happened. Maybe an astroid had hit us. But what I do know is. It knocked me out cold. And while I was out cold. I had a dream. That dusk's planet, jigoku, was barren and lifeless. It was a pink planet. But it had no sky. It was surrounded by the darkness of space. And like karai said. There was a greater force that kidnapped all of dusk's species. And it also wanted to kill dusk. And I couldn't let that happen. But in that dream. I also saw something. I saw a huge footprint. The footprint was at least 5 feet long. I couldn't believe it. I also heard screaming. From multiple beings. They all cried the same thing. "Stop! Stop! Stop!" It tore me to pieces. I didn't know who or what it was that made those screams but I had a theory. And what made that footprint? Only one way to find out but first. I had to wake up. But when I did. I couldn't move.

The ship was torn to shreds. Pieces shattered everywhere. The crash must have been more than I could handle because I couldn't hardly move. It hurt to move any part of my body. I twitched my legs. "Ahhhh!" I screamed in agony as It echoed against the lifeless regions of space. Then I realized. I was here. It was cold. Freezing in fact. As I lay there I couldn't help but wonder one simple and obvious fact. How did the ship crash? How didn't I die? And oh no. Where was karai?! I strained myself to move. I kept screaming. Because I noticed that my whole body was bruised and bleeding. I crawled. Because that's the only thing I could do to make the pain more bearable. I finally fell. I bawled up and started to cry very loudly. I screamed, "karai! Where are you! I can't take this!" I than thought of a magnificent way to infuse my energy. I took my katana and sliced open my arm. "Graaaaaah!" I screamed. I stood up and ran towards the rubble of the ship. I rummaged through all of the broken pieces. Then. I found her. Under one of the ship's bigger pieces of rubble. I lifted it to get her out. I held her in my arms and I cried. "Karai! Don't do this to me! I know you've been harsh in the past but. I can't lose you! You were always the one who understood me! Don't leave me." A tear drop fell on her face and her entire body started to glow. And she rose up from my arms into the planet's atmosphere. I fell back, astonished. She was completely healed. But when the glowing stopped. She fell.

I ran to her. I yelled, "karai!" She looked up at me sleepily. "Spirit? Is that. Is that you?" I hugged her so tight. I never wanted to let go. I said, " don't ever do that to me again!" She said, "wha-- what happened to the ship?!" I said, "it crashed somehow." She rolled her eyes at me. I helped her up and she said, "well now that we're here. We need to start searching for that panther of yours."
