Chapter Ten The Dragon

"Raph!" I yelled! I took out my katana. Dusk brought out her claws. Dawn had raph all tied up. Raph struggled and said. "Dammit! Let me go!" Dusk said. "Oh stop struggling. You'll never get out." I ran at dawn with my katana. He didn't move. And when I went to slash his throat wide open. He was gone. I fell. Dusk drove her claws into the floor. She yelled. "Dawn! Where are you! Dammit! I'm tired of your shit! You tried to kill me! Why!" She thought she saw him in the corner. She saw those eyes. Those glowing blue eyes. She charged at him. But when she got there. It was only smoke. I got up. And grabbed my katana. I started to untie raph. I said. "Don't worry bro! I'll save you." He just looked at me. Then he said in a demonic voice. "You can never escape. This place is a prison. And you are it's prisoners. And if you try. Death shall be your fate." Then he looked down. And his glowing green eyes came back. I jumped back. "Raph!" I said. "What's wrong with you?!" He started to cry. "I-- I don't know don!" I finished untying him. I put his arm over my neck. I said. "I'll find out what's going on." We walked towards dusk. She said. "Hurry before--" then something struck her. Like a bolt if lightning came out of nowhere. She fell to the ground. Fried. You could see smoke coming from her darkened body. Raph and I ran to her. "Dusk!" I screamed. I knelt down to her. She said in a weak voice. "Damn that dragon. Spirit--" I said. "What! What is it!" Before she closed her eyes she said. "Kill it." The lightning strike had kill her. I held her close. I cried loudly and screamed her name. "Dusk!" Raph put his hand on my shoulder and said. "Go. I'll stay with dusk." With tears flowing down my face and my eyes a bloodshot red. He was right. I had to do this. I picked up my katana. And left the castle. To fight the dragon. To avenge my best friend. To end this. Once and for all.

I walked out of the palace and down all the steps. The dragon was still there. But it was fighting the panthers. I yelled. "Hey! Lightning breath!" It looked at me angrily. I yelled. "Come and fucking get it." I ran towards the 20 foot tall dragon. With my katana in hand. I yelled. "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!" I jumped up high in the air. I wanted to slash it's throat. But it hit me with one of it's paws. I rolled on the ground until I hit one of the panthers. I looked at it. Directed my eyes towards the dragon. Then we both shook our heads. The panther ran around the dragon. Distracting it so I could bring it down. I ran and sliced open one of it's legs. It gave out a monster like scream. Then it tried to stomp on me. But I avoided it. More panthers came in to play. They distracted the dragon my clawing his front feet. I cut open it's tail. It screamed again. I jumped on to it. Dragging my katana behind me. Slicing down the dragon's back. But it flung me off before I could give it the final blow. I flew into a giant rock. I was bleeding constantly from everywhere. But I wouldn't give it up. And neither would the dragon. But when I got up. It wasn't here. The panthers were surrounding something. Like they were about to kill it. "Stop!" I yelled. They all looked at me. "I want to do this myself." They all stood back. Then. I saw what I never would have guessed. I saw the mysterious turtle. Blood was gushing from her shell where I had cut her. And from one of her wrists. And her tail was bleeding out. She lay there lifeless and I looked at her closely. I gasped and walked back. "Aki?!"
