Chapter Fourteen Captured

Raph and dusk hugged me. I felt surrounded with love by their prescience but. I hated to feel loved for something I didn't do. Why did karai leave? She should be taking credit for this. Not me. But where did she go? She couldn't have just disappeared. Could she? It's not possible. But I grabbed my weapon. I said. "Look guys. I'd love to stay. But we have to go. What about dawn?" Dusk freezed. "What about him? My brother--" I put my hand on dusk's head. "It's okay. We'll stop him." Raph said. "But how? He's got Leo. Mikey. That dragon. And he probably re captured the panthers by now." Dusk gave me the death glare. "What?! I thought they were free! My people!" I said. "We'll get them back." She turned around and started to walk out the door. "Damn right we will." She left the house. I started talking to raph. "So. What do you think we should do? Your the leader." After he said that. He looked down. I know exactly why. Losing his brothers took a toll on him. He always said that to Leo and now. Leo was some kind of. Monster. A demon in fact. He sat down. And put his head down. He was afraid. Afraid of become a mindless freak. Becoming a monster like Mikey and Leo. He was afraid to lose me. I crouched down to him. "Raph. I promise. You will not lose me. We will always be brothers. And we WILL get out brothers back." He lifted his head. He was lightly sobbing. He said in a stutter. "Re-- really?" I looked at him and smiled. "Really." I started to walk out the door to dusk. When it hit me. The answer was here all along. How had I been so blind.

I turned back around and ran to raph who continued to cry in the corner after I left. "Raph!" I yelled. He sniffed. "Can't you see I'm busy?!" He stood up and left. "Raph wait!" Uggh. I guess this would have to wait. Now to find dusk. I walked outside in the barren darkness of the planet. I called for her. "Dusk. Dusk. Dusk." She was nowhere to be found. I stood there for a moment. Wondering where she could possibly be. I dug my toes into the barren landscape. I hope she was okay. Then I heard a noise. "Psst." I turned around. "Surprise!" They knocked me out. I couldn't see who they were before they knocked me unconscious. It was cold, dark, and empty. I'm not sure if my eyes were open or not. But the nightmare was all too real. But I knew this had to be real when I heard a voice say. "Finally. My prey is within my grasp."
