"Wha...?" was all I could say.

Everyone around us stared and began to whisper to their friends. I felt small and alone. Thankfully, Brooke showed up and offered to take me to my cabin. She shooed everyone away and led me back towards the cabins. As we were walking, I decided to start a conversation.

"What's your full name?" I asked.

"Brooklyn Rose." she said.

"Cool." I was silent the rest of the trip.

"Here we are." Brooke said gesturing at my cabin.

I remembered it from the tour Lynn gave me. The dark blue, wooden cabin looked good with the light blue roof. It reminded me of a log cabin in the mountains. For decoration, I assumed, there was a snowboard above the door. Even though I could tell it was old, it was kept in prime condition.

I walked in and set my messenger bag on a bed. I pulled off my leather jacket and my black converse. I changed into my pajamas, which were only a tank top and shorts.

I collapsed on the bed and pulled the covers up to my chin. I checked the the clock on the bedside table. I hadn't realized this before, but I had been in Shadawn for a couple days. With all the blacking out, I must have woken up a few hours after the first black out. Then the second time, I must have been unconcious for days. Even with the sick feeling in my chest I eventually fell asleep.

I had barely fallen asleep when the dreams washed in. In my dream, I saw the first seven Magics, or Elementals. A big, burly man stood at the front of the group, obviously Storm. Sparks crackled around him. He had a white beard that looked like a cloud and wore a purple, silk cloak.

On his left, stood Fire. She was a thin woman with flaming red hair. It was very long and came down to her waist in waves. She wore a short, strapless red dress. Her black heels added an extra six inches to her height.

On Storm's right side, was Air. He was a younger man with white, wispy hair. His siut was white which he wore with gray dress shoes.

Behind Air, was the Shadow Magic. He is not as burly as Storm, and has a black suit on. His black hair is slicked back into a small ponytail. He reminds me of Lynn.

Earth stood next to Fire. She had flowers growing around her feet and her hair was woven into a braid and speckled with small white blossoms. Her skin had a greenish tint to it, and she her long fingernails were painted brown. Her single-strap dress was green and had brown ribbons on it.

Water stood behind Earth. She seemed really young, almost a teenager.  One eye was hidden behind straight blue hair. She wore a flowy dress that faded from dark to light blue with blue flats.

Right beside her, is a younger girl about the same age. She had long, straight blonde hair. She wore wore a white, fitted dress with silver designs. I could tell she was Ice because she kept playing with water between her hands, freezing it into different shapes. She also had tattoos that looked more like frozen skin than ink. She was very pretty. I watched her laugh and talk with Water. They looked like they were best friends.
The scene changed.

It looked like present time.

The elements were yelling at each other

"We told you never to have another one!" Storm screamed.

"What do you want me to do just sit here and have no life!" Ice screamed back as she rose from her throne.

"Why shouldn't she be able to have a child, she can't just sit here and do nothing." Water said, defending Ice.

Then all at once my sight changed, I was Ice.

The room thundered.

Then the shadow spoke up.

"Water you must understand! You know the consequences!" He shouted at her.

She shrank back joining the others against me.

I'm sorry, she mouthed.

"ITS NOT LIKE I AM GOING TO GIVE UP ON HER." I screamed

Then Storm stormed out the door, followed by shadow who glared at me. Then Fire nodded and left. Air glided by and swooped out the door. Water had tears in her eyes, but she smiled, and left the room.

Then I woke up....

I was in my room when I heard a siren. Then I heard screaming and shouting. It was very loud, then I heard James yelling, and people shouting and screaming.

LOCKDOWN!!

LOCKDOWN!

LOCKDOWN!

James was still screaming and I couldn't make out the words.

It sounded like he was saying

"I can't leave the late in the there."

But that couldn't be right, I knew that. The next thing I knew, I heard an ear splitting scream.
