I knew that whatever I did to them would heal but it would hurt like hell before it did. They were both in the middle of the room, their arms chained around the wooden beams that extended from the ceiling. I stepped closer to Millie first.

I only needed one tool with her...and Sam. She raised her head, meeting my gaze with her emerald one and laughed. That psychotic, screeching laugh that was like nails on a chalkboard.

I slapped her as hard as I could across the face, making blood spray from her busted lips.

She spit it out on the floor near my feet, turning her head back towards me.

"Are we hitting girls now Colby? I know you always liked it rough but never thought I-"

I grabbed her mouth, squeezing her cheeks so that her lips smushed together.

"You aren't a girl. You are just a problem that has carried on for far too long." My voice was low, my face only an inch from hers.

I smiled at her as evily as I could.

"So now it's time to rectify that mistake. Wanna tell me why you had Elias erase Chloe's memories? Cuz I know it was on your orders."

I let her mouth go so that she could speak.

She spat more blood out, and giggled.

"Because I thought it would be good for a laugh! And he was more than willing to do it."

"You fucking lying bitch! I'll kill you myself!" Elias screamed at her and started flinging his feet towards her again, straining against his chains, but couldn't reach her.

I heard a soft whimper, dragging my attention away from them. I looked towards the sound and saw that Corey had stupidly brought the human girl into the basement.

"What?" I asked, holding out my hands. "Why did you bring her down here?"

"Elias! Baby, what's going on? I'm scared!" The girl was struggling to get out of Corey's arms, and get to Elias.

"Baby?" I repeated, looking from her to him.

"It's okay Jade. I swear. These are the good guys. They aren't going to hurt you. Calm down."

She slowly stopped struggling, but Corey kept his hold on her.

"I brought her down here because of that. I tried to compel her again, but she wouldn't open her damn eyes. So I said fuck it and brought her to see him." He jerked his thumb towards Elias.

I looked back over to Elias. He was staring at the girl, a familiar look on his face.

"Fuck." I replied.

"What's up?" Sam asked, walking over to me.

I nodded towards Elias.

"Look at him."

Sam looked over to Elias who finally looked away from the girl and met Sam's gaze. "Well shit." Sam said.

I nodded.

"Changes things."

"It does." Sam agreed. "Still gotta do the other though." A big wolfish grin broke out on Sam's face and his eyes went wide. "Ready?"

I nodded, then looked back over to Corey. "Take her out for a few huh?"

"No! NO!" She started screaming.

"Elias, tell her to leave. You don't want her seeing this too after everything she's probably already been through, do you?"

He gulped, fear in his eyes. Good.

It was good to know he was afraid.

"Jade, go with Corey, baby. He'll take care of you until...just go with him, okay?"

The girl, Jade, started crying, clinging to Corey's arm. "But what about you? Why are they hurting you? I thought that these were your friends that were going to save us!" She was almost hysterical now, her small frame started to shake.

"Brother, just take her. She's going into shock."

Corey pouted, looking at me while he held her. "But I'm gonna miss all the fun stuff." He whined.

I rolled my eyes.

"Just go." I sighed.

"Fine." He said, and picked the girl up in his arms, sweeping her out of the room so fast, she didn't have time to say anything else.

"Sam, Colby, can I-"

Elias tried to talk again, but I held my hand up stopping him.

"In a minute."

I motioned to Sam to come closer to Millie with me. He had what he needed in his hand, having already grabbed it from the tool box. I would have to thank Mike for stocking that.

I brought my hand to Millie's face, caressing it softly, while she leaned into my touch.

Stupid bitch still thought that I loved her?

"Oh Colby, I knew you wouldn't actually kill me. I know we have our problems but with that bitch out of the picture, we-"

Sam yanked her hair back, exposing her throat and cutting off her words.

"Oh no, Millie. I fully intend to kill you. Just wanna see the fear in your eyes and the light fade when I do. Make sure you keep looking at me sweetheart." I cooed.

The fear I was looking for flashed in her eyes. Not giving her a chance to say another word, I yanked the stake from my pocket and plowed it into her chest, just as Sam plowed his into the side of her head. She gurgled on her own blood for a moment, struggling, then the light faded from her eyes...and it was over.

This part anyways. What I should have done to start with was finally done. I stepped back expecting to feel...something.

Relief, happiness, something...but there was nothing. Only an emptiness that I knew would stay until I got Chloe back. I looked over to Elias, who was watching us, his eyes full of fear.

I pulled the stake from Millie's chest, and stepped towards him.

"Wanna talk now?" I asked, pointing the stake at his chest.

He sucked in a deep, shaky breath, his eyes darting between Sam and I.

"You're gonna actually let him talk? After what he did?" Elton asked, disgust in his voice.

"Shut up Uncle." I replied, keeping my eyes on Elias.

I had my reasons.

"I-I had no choice." He said defeatedly, hanging his head.

"There's always a choice." I said, touching the point of the stake to his body, digging in a little.

He shook his head, bringing his gaze back up to meet mine.
