Chapter 4

Gaby's POV
It was Roger. My ex boyfriend.

He grabs my ass and pulls me in and pins me on the lockers.
"What's up babe?" Roger says while trying to kiss me put I pull back.

I could see Hayes's eyes filling with anger second by second. I saw him clenching his fists and walked away looking really pissed.

I was hurt.

"Babe come on what are you doing with that douche?" Roger said.

"I love that douche now get the fuck away from me and stop calling me babe." I command.

"Damn. You wanna play? I like a girl that's hard to get. It gives me a challenge." He says while trying to run his fingertips up my shirt.

"I said get the fuck away!" I tell while pushing his chest so I could walk away.

He stops and stares while I walk away. He looked hurt but I didn't feel bad for him. He changed and I have nothing to do with him now.

I walk to my locker and there's exactly a minute left until the bell rings.

I see Hayes walking and I grab his arm.

He shakes his arms and nudges me roughly.
"Get away from me." He says.

He was really rude and he hurt me but I couldn't blame him. Hayes has been used so many times just for fame and I bet that's what he thinks of me. I could see emotions of anger and sadness flowing through his body like waves by just looking at him.

I couldn't help seeing someone I loved like this.

"HAYES!" I yell.
But he just keeps walking.

The bell rings and I run to my locker and get my books.
I know Hayes didn't know where he was going so I waited for him so he could follow behind me.

As I was walking he grabbed my arm and looked at me in the eye. His crystal blue eyes staring into mine. They were like the window to his soul.

"Please don't hurt me like the rest of them." He said with a tight grip on my arm and eyes so watery he looked like he was about to cry.

"I promise." I say softly.
