Chapter 21

Gaby's POV

Hayes and I didn't know where we were going or where we end up. All I know is I'm running away with my soulmate.

"So where Exactly are we going?" I asked Hayes as he was driving.

"It's a surprise." Hayes said as he smirked.

"How long will it take to get there?" I asked getting excited.

"A few hours.. About 5" hayes said keeping his eyes on the road.

"Ughhhhhhhh." I groaned/moaned.

"Save that for the bed." Hayes laughed.

"Shut up whore." I laughed.

We have been on the road for a long time of just talking and joking around. I looked at the time, 3:00 pm. Which meant my parents were probably home...

I laid back on my seat and turned on the radio. Fight Night by Migos came on and me and Hayes were switching off parts of the lyrics which was hilarious. I soon got a text from Matt.

Matt😊: yo gabba gabba, where are you?

I looked at the message but I didn't open it so it didn't say I read it.

"Hayes look." I said showing Hayes the message Matt sent to me.

"They are already getting suspicious.. Don't worry just don't answer anything." Hayes said unsure.

"Ok.." I replied.

I sat back into my seat and looked out the window. I just listened to the music as the song Feeling Myself by Nicki Minaj came on. I soon started feeling sick. Liked I needed to throw up. But i couldn't be car sick, I was relaxed and calm...

"Hayes.. Can we pull up to a gas station.. I don't feel so good." I said to Hayes while grasping my stomach tightly.

"Yeah." Hayes said getting worried as he sped to the nearest gas station.

I jumped out of the car when he parked and ran to the bathroom. I felt so sick. All the sudden everything just went out of me. Gross.

Hayes was knocking on the door really worried.
"ARE YOU OK IN THERE?" Hayes was trying to manage to say through the door as I was trying to get myself together.

"Uh-uhm y-ya! I'm--fine!" I said stuttering.

Hayes managed to open the door by shaking that door handle roughly, which caused the lock to break.

He ran up to me while I was kneeling next to the toilet on the floor.

"Babe? What happened?" Hayes asked as he got a paper towel to wipe my mouth.

"Uhm... I don't know.. My stomach hurts... A LOT." I managed saying as I had a grip of my stomach.

"Is it because you scared or something?" Hayes asked.

"No, I'm fine. We should get back on the road." I said trying to get up.

Hayes grabbed my waist to help me up and went out of the gas station bathroom so I could wash my mouth and face.

I went out of the bathroom and saw Hayes waiting in the truck for me through the window.

In the corner of my eyes I saw pregnancy tests on the shelf. I decided to grab three of them and pay quickly so Hayes wouldn't see. I didn't want to scare him.

I went and sat in the truck and Hayes started it and we were on the road once again.

Hayes was worried about me. I could tell. He had one hand on the wheel and the other on my thigh like he was showing he would protect me.

I laid my head on Hayes's shoulder and soon drifted to sleep.

I took about a 2 hour nap and was awoken by my phone vibrating.

I sat up and checked my phone.

Mom👩: Honey where are you? We are going out to dinner in a couple of hours and I need to know if your at a friends house.

I got scared and decided to show Hayes.

"Hayyyesssss look. Another text." I said interrupting his focus on the road.

He took my phone and read it.

"It's ok. Just don't worry." Hayes said not knowing what to do.

"I'm getting worried Hayes. By tomorrow they will freak out." I said hesitatingly.

Hayes pulled up on the side of road and looked at me in the eyes.

"Everything will be ok. You have to trust me." Hayes said in all seriousness.

"I trust you." I said as Hayes cupped my cheeks and gave me a long passionate kiss.

He started the truck again.

There was about two hours left until Hayes would take me where he was planning to.

My phone vibrated.

Nick❌: oh so you think you can run away from your problems? Well I'll track you down. Me and Georgia have a plan.

My heart was beating really fast. I wanted to show Hayes but he was probably already overwhelmed and I didn't want to just throw all my problems on him.

I just turned off my phone and snuggled up to Hayes. Sleep soon took over my body.
