--------Freddie's P.O. V. --------
How could Sam kiss that jerk? I thought angrily. He's so inconsiderate, vain... my thoughts were interrupted by Liam. He leaned over, looking into my upset eyes, and tried to lighten the mood.
"Time for Phase Two," he said with a demonic smirk. I gave him a tense smile in return, because I currently wanted my fist become well acquainted with Justin's face.
"Okay class," the substitute said in a ticked off voice, "it's time for attendance."
She started calling various names, before getting to Liam's. "Liam Marrison?"
"Actually, ma'am, I go by Zengla." Liam replied, holding back a snicker.
"Okay, um, Zengla," she said, trying to hold back her puzzled look. "Shawn Nelson?"
"My name is Lilikins, Mrs. Freeson. It doesn't say that on the list?" Shawn asked in mock confusion. The sub scanned her list, as ripples of merriment erupted around the room. She looked up at the kids, and they immediately silenced themselves. I had to admit, it was kind-of hilarious how the lady was actually falling for it.
"Nope, it says Shawn. I'll just try to remember that, Lilikins."She finished attendance, with all of the guys and even a few girls changing their names. Kyle was Macacos, and I adopted the name Ice J.J. Fish. Then as she started the lesson, we all got up at staggered times to either sharpen our pencils, blow our noses, or get a drink of water.
I saw her mounting frustration as we constantly interrupted her teaching, so when we weren't disrupting her class, the guys and I acted like we were enchanted by her lesson. Then the coughing and sneezing phase began, and Mrs. Freeson finally lost her temper.
"Get out! All of you boys!" We pretended to look confused, for then she elaborated. "Ice J.J. Fish, Zengla, Lilikins, and Macacos, you all need to leave this classroom right now!" She shrieked. The class exploded in laughter, and we all snickered as we left the room.
We joined Sam in the halls, glancing around before finding her hunched over on the ground, with giggles spewing from her mouth.
"T-that was amazing," she gasped, before becoming overtaken by her laughter. Her antics were highly contagious, and soon enough all of us were rolling around on the ground, in tears of mirth. When we finally gained control of ourselves, I tried to catch Sam's eye. She must have felt my gaze on her back, for she suddenly turned around.
She met my eyes, and looked like a child caught stealing from the cookie jar. I couldn't help but smile at her face begging for forgiveness, and she must have took that as an ok, for she then looked thankful.
Wow, it's crazy that after all these years, she still hasn't see the truth - that I was madly in love with her.
"Hey, I'm throwing a party at my place tonight. Do you guys want to come?" Justin asked hesitantly.
"Sure! Yeah, that sounds really fun! When does it start?" Sam replied excitedly. Justin looked a little taken aback at her enthusiasm, but never the less responded.
"It starts at 7. So I'll see you two there?"
"Yeah, wouldn't miss it!" Sam says eagerly.
I glance her way and grin at her childish excitement. I immediately realized that her excitement was spurred by the fact that she's never gone to a high school party before. This should be one memorable night.
