Hey guys! So I decided not to write about how Piper and Jason found Lincoln and Violet. Let's just pretend a satyr tipped them off or something. Please read and review!

Chapter Two: Camping With the Enemy

"So... what exactly is a demigod?" Lincoln asked.

Percy, Calypso, Leo, Piper, Jason, Violet, Lincoln, and Chiron (in his wheelchair) were all standing around the ping-pong table, trying to ignore the fact that Leo was openly staring at Violet and Lincoln in fascination.

"Amazing," he muttered. He held up Lincoln's dagger and inspected it. "What metal is this?"

"Give me that," Lincoln said as he snatched back his dagger. "How did you even get this?"

Violet cleared her throat. Turning to Piper, she said, "You promised answers."

Piper nodded. "I'm gonna cut to the chase- we're all demigods, the sons and daughters of the Greek gods."

Violet looked at the demigods in wonder. "All of you?"

"Well, I'm a titan," Calypso said. "and Chiron's a centaur."

"A centaur," Lincoln said in disbelief. "he's in a wheelchair."

Chiron stood up, his horse half coming into view. "I think you'll find that it is merely a ruse," Chiron said. "I am, in fact, a centaur."

"Wow," Violet said, blinking in shock. "This is a lot to process."

Piper winced. "Yeah. I feel like we're not explaining this very well."

Lincoln pointed at Jason. "So you're a demigod. Who's your parent?"

Jason shrugged. "I'm a son of Zeus. I can control lightning and wind."

"I'm the daughter of Aphrodite," Piper said.

The demigods all introduced themselves, stating their parents and their powers. Violet and Lincoln were silent.

"So if you're demigods," Violet said finally, "Why did you track us down?"

"We thought that you were demigods," Chiron said.

"Huh," Violet said. "That seems like an easy mistake. Our lifestyles seem similar."

"Do you guys have monsters too?" Percy asked.

"Monsters?" Lincoln looked even more confused.

"They Greek monsters are real, too," Piper explained. "We have to fight them sometimes when they try to kill us. But they go to a place Tartaraus, where they eventually reincarnate."

"That sounds awful," Violet said. "How do you kill them?"

"With this," Leo said, showing them Jason's and Percy's swords. The two boys realized their weapons were gone only a moment after Leo stole them.

"We make weapons with Celestial Bronze and Imperial Gold. Those metals, along with Stygian Iron, are the only metals that can kill monsters." Leo explained.

"Interesting," Lincoln said. He locked eyes with Violet and took a deep breath. "I guess it's our turn to explain."

"When a baby is born," Violet started, earning her some confused looks, "they are surrounded by an aura of new life. If one of the baby's parent dies within two weeks, they are also surrounded by an aura of death. This allows an angel to place a piece of their essence in that baby, and they become a Grigori."
