Song: Hold My Girl (George Ezra)

"Apollo." Ri padded down the stairs, entering the living room where I was sat strumming my guitar. "I can't stay here anymore."

I sighed, looking up from my instrument to make eye-contact with her"Ri, we've spoken about this! I can't risk you!" Her safety had become one of the most important things to me and every time she bought up the subject of her leaving Olympus this was my main argument.

"I can take care of myself!" She glared at me defiantly, "I literally grew up killing monsters." This was always her counter-argument.

I set my guitar to the side and stood up, pulling me into a hug. "I know." This wasn't something that I liked, but I knew I couldn't keep her here forever. She had grown up with her life constantly under threat by monsters, she was a fighter and would always be.

"Then can I please go to Camp Halfblood."

It had been a month, a month of her begging me to let her go. I had to trust her, trust that she would be able to take care of herself.

"Okay," I sighed, "but be careful."

"I'm always careful!" She grinned and pecked me on the lips. She had become very free with her kisses over the last month, which was something that I would never complain about.

"Promise to IM me."

"Of course! What kind of wife do you take me for?"

"A bad one." I laughed, "A very bad one."

"Shut up." She laughed and kissed me again. "Okay then, I'm going to camp."

"I'll take you!" I knew that if she was going I would be going with her. The jorney to camp could be the most dangerous part. At least this way I could ensure she got there safely.

"Let me just grab my sword and some clothes." She ran off and returned moments later with a backpack full of stuff.

"Ready?" I asked she nodded vigorously which made me laugh. "Okay then let's go."

I placed a hand on her shoulder and within seconds we were stood atop Halfblood Hill. It being late September the camp didn't seem very busy, but I could still see a few people dotted around, partaking in various activities.

I offered Ri my hand, and she accepted it. We began to make our way down towards the Big House where Chiron and Dionysus were sat on the porch overlooking the camp activities and playing a card game.

"So this is camp Halfblood." Ri was looking around as we walked, taking in everything, "It's beautiful."

"I agree," I smiled, I had always loved Camp Halfblood and I loved how well it had looked after so many of my children. "There's something rather majestic about mortals."

She let go of my hand and punched my arm, "watch it."

"Lord Apollo." Chiron greeted us as we climbed up the steps to the porch, manoeuvring his wheelchair so that he could look at us.

"Chiron," I grinned at him.

"I wasn't expecting anyone visiting today," Dionysus said in a very disinterested voice, not looking up from his cards. I made a face at him.

"Who's this?" Chiron asked, looking at Ri.

"This is Ariadne, she's a demigod."

"Hi," she waved awkwardly. Dionysus shot me a look, and I shot him a glare.

"Is she your daughter?" Chiron asked, looking her up and down.

I laughed, "No, no she's..." I glanced at Ri, "she's my wife."

Chiron raised an eyebrow, "ah yes I heard about you. The daughter of Nyx."

"I'd rather not spread that around," she spoke up.

"Yes, that would be best." Chiron nodded and frowned, "maybe we should also neglect to mention the fact that you're married to Apollo."

She nodded and grinned, "you read my mind!"

"You can stay in the Hermes cabin." Chiron mused, "I can get Annabeth to show you around."

"Annabeth?" she asked.

"Um yes can I help you?" someone spoke from behind us. Ri turned around to see a girl with blonde curly hair, this was Annabeth the frequent companion of Percy Jackson on his various death-defying quests.

"Ah Annabeth," Chiron smiled, "This is Ariadne."

"Ri." She grinned and outstretched her hand to Annabeth, who regarded it as if it were going to bite her. But then she shook it anyway.

"So do you want me to show her around camp?" Annabeth asked Chiron.

"Yes, Annabeth that would be brilliant." Chiron smiled.

Ri turned to me, "I guess I'll see you soon then."

"I guess." I said, wanting to tell her so much more, but knowing that she wanted to keep our relationship quiet, "I should be going, you know Godly stuff." I didn't want to leave her, but I cast her one final look and disappeared to Olympus, which was far lonelier than I remembered it.
