"It's so hot." I fanned myself looking around the pool while Trey was cleaning it out. May was definitely kicking my ass this whole month. It felt like I just left jackets and boots. April was the last little breeze I've felt in a while and it was good while it lasted.
"I'm almost done. Be patient." I rolled my eyes watching him have all his focus on this one little leaf floating around. I felt like he was fucking with me but I wasn't sure yet. "Well I'm getting in." I hopped in nine feet swimming around before rolling on my back. "It feel so nice." I smiled slowly moving my arms up and down. I was sort of happy my little girl was gonna be a summer baby. I wish I was, January is cold and no one feel like doing shit in the cold.
Trey jumped in catching me off guard almost giving me a mini heart attack. "Boy!" I splashed him with water as he laughed. "Girl calm down." He took me in his arms as we made our way around the water. Today we were looking at a few houses that were on the market. I told him I didn't want anything too crazy or something my baby could get lost in once she starts to crawl. "Despite it being hot as hell its a nice day." "Yeah you right." He floated backwards intertwining our fingers. Sometimes just having peace and quiet between us said everything. We can still enjoy each other's company and that was important to me. He's been my rock half of my life and it's a like a breath of fresh air being with him.
"We go view the first place in an hour. Since we got time to kill you tryna .. you know." I looked over at him like he was crazy. "I'm tryna what?" "You know." He rested his hand on my thigh making me laugh. "Nawl boo, you not getting none until I get my dream house. I pop in two more months Trey, it's time to crack down. I want new furniture, a tall fence for privacy or a few acres of land. You should get your dog back from your mother's place so he can get to know his baby sister. I want tall ceiling because I want a tall Christmas tree."
"And you'll get all that." He kissed my cheek making me smile. I wanted this next spot to be permanent for all our children to come. That was gonna be the nest that you could always come back to when you fall on hard times. The house where we were gonna grow old and wrinkly together waiting on grandkids. "And you have to decide between a man cave and that sex room cause we not having both." He looked over at me like I was crazy. "Why I can't have both?" "Because we're working on this family Trey. I don't want to end up pregnant again then I'm waiting on you to move your stuff. They'll need a play room." He stood up floating around me. "How about an eight bedroom house? I know you don't want nothing big but if we planning this family it gotta happen. That way we can have everything because four of those rooms I already know what's going in there." I floated quietly as he rubbed my stomach. It did make sense but big house always creeped me out. It just gave me an off feel when I'm alone and I knew eventually it was just gonna be me and the baby, no Trey. This summer he's definitely touring and he's in high demand. Security was gonna have to be tight because that's the only way we're staying.

"This is a beautiful six bedroom, four bathroom home. It has a huge walk in closet, underground fish tank as you walk to the living room, great kitchen for cooking, the living room is white carpet, the master bedroom is upstairs."
I listened to the lady talk and talk and all I could do was throw up red flags. For one I didn't trust the fish tank idea at all. Those stairs had gaping holes in between each rod and I would die just thinking about our child crawling to the edge. Six bedrooms weren't good for us but Trey convinced me to look anyway and not to mention the white carpets. "I see that look in your eyes, you don't like it." I harden my face trying not to give a rude answer since the lady was standing right there. "I mean it's a beautiful home don't get me wrong. It's just not us. Ms. Long I was hoping to see a few of your eight bedrooms?" Her face widen and soon a smile came after.
"Well if I knew y'all were looking for the bigger homes we could've drove around the corner. I take that this family of yours is gonna be pretty big." I laughed nodding my head. "Yeah, this will be our home so I want it right." "I agree. You should have everything you want!" We followed her to the door as she locked up.
We got in the car and hit the block seeing all the huge, beautiful homes. I smiled seeing children play in the yard and fancy dogs strut around with their owner.
We pulled up to the house and it was beautiful just looking at it. Big windows so natural light wasn't a problem inside. Plus it sat on the corner away from everyone else. "Yeah this nice." "Yes it is!" I smiled clasping my hands together feeling excitement take over. The baby started kicking making me laugh and rub my stomach.
"Baby Girl is feeling it too." He rubbed my belly feeling for a kick smiling once she did. "Oh yeah." He nodded getting excited like me. "We gotta Wait till we inside though, don't get too excited." He turned the car off getting out to open my door.
"This home hasn't been on the market very long, it's popular but couples don't stay long because kids move off or they don't have any. This is an eight bedroom home with five bathrooms. His and her closets. Open concept idea with a deck and pool in the back. No white carpet anywhere, the stairs are also carpet and as you can see no huge spaces between each rod." I smiled slowly spinning around taking in everything before we headed upstairs.
"Is it okay if we look around upstairs?" "Yes sir! Of course, I'll be down here waiting."
He grabbed my hand helping me up the stairs which felt like fifty of them already. "Come on big baby." He smacked my ass making me flip him off. We walked into the master bedroom and it was spacious just like I was expecting it to be.
"Damn it's enough room for two king size beds in here." "You ain't lying, this almost feels like a living room." I laughed flipping on the bathroom light seeing how open it was. There was a vanity and an open shower with just a class wall preventing water from going everywhere. "I'm enjoying watching you in there." He came behind me wrapping his arms around my frame rocking us side to side. "I can't wait to see you in there." I turned around hugging his neck pecking his lips. "I'm already fucking with this house." He licked his juicy lips pulling me close, I knew he was trying to start something but I wanted to get nasty in my new house.
"Now I can finally put a pole in the middle of the room and dance for you." "Man we getting this house!" I laughed shaking my head at him. "Calm down Trey, we haven't seen the rest of it."
So house hunting is going good. Olivia pops in two more months so it's really crunch time for them. I'm thinking about ending this book after the baby or drag it only a few more chapters. I'm thinking about a second book but I don't know... y'all let me know something. This update is definitely for my night owls😂🦉
