"I can't believe she just left with him like that, that man is crazy!" I shook my head folding my arms. "She's tripping right now and if she knows what's best she'll be back." Trey said trying to make me feel better.
"I met Joesph before the party and he was all smiles and so cuddly to her, I thought he was the one." Justin admitted shaking his head. "Yeah well I thought he was pretty sweet too until the wild messages back to back. The popping up at places I'd be and popping up at my home." Thinking about how Ciara just sat there and then left with him made me feel sick. I was hoping Trey was right about the situation, me and Ciara go way back. "Girl she's just in a phase right now, Joesph saved her so those feelings are still there and fresh. She probably just reacted without thinking." London shrugged sitting on the loveseat next to us.
The room grew quiet from everyone thinking about what happened and what's going to happen.
It was pretty late in the day but too cool outside to do anything productive really. My show was a success and everything I wanted to sell did but I still felt empty. I know guys like Joesph, they're like lost puppies that are all sweet and cuddly but once you feed them they stick forever and turn possessive. Ciara was way out of her league with this one and sis didn't even know. "Anyways let's stop dwelling on the situation. Last I checked you have Uno and alcohol in your cabinets." Justin smiled working his shoulders back and forth making us laugh.
"It's five in the afternoon and you want to drink?" London said making Justin shrug. "Y'all are boring and you know I hate boring so let's turn up! Girls night out plus one man." Our eyes diverted towards Trey making him look up from his phone.
"Oh, I'm out." "What you mean out?!" Justin asked looking him up and down. "That I'm not drinking, I gotta watch what I put in my body. Can't always indulge in the temptation." He had a point but I wasn't in every music video with my shirt off so I still was going to drink. "Okay Mr. Trey Songz is out so I guess I'll only get three shot glasses." He disappeared into the kitchen. "How's you and Drake relationship going?" "It's going good, he wants me to meet his people next weekend which I'm sort of nervous about." I smiled. It was good to hear my sister was all the way together and her man was too. Meeting the family was always big in any relationship. I was more nervous about meeting Trey's grandmother over his mother because of how highly he spoke of her. Ten plus years down the line they're calling me their own and it's amazing.
My phone started to ring making me look down seeing it was Ciara. "Y'all!" I fanned turning my phone around to show them who was calling me. "Girl answer! Put it on speaker!" London said making me roll my eyes. I answered the phone doing as she said.
"Hello?" I asked as everyone huddled around my phone. "I'd appreciate it if you don't text Joesph phone okay!" I moved the phone further away lighting up the screen making sure this was her. "Oh no she didn't!" Justin whispered mugging the phone. "Ciara what the hell are you talking about?!" "You've been blowing up his phone Olivia, I've seen the messages so no need to lie! I understand we're having our differences right now but that's just disrespectful."
I lightly chuckled standing up. "For one check your man's phone again because it wasn't me! I don't know what sick games y'all playing but Olivia ain't the one!" "Okaaay!" London chimed in making me snap for her to hush. "Baby I don't want your manipulative crazy ass man and I definitely don't have his number." It grew quite over the phone because I'm sure she was feeling shitty. "So you're lying because Trey's there right? Well let me explain something to you, he's mine now! I thought you'd be happy for me but I thought wrong." She hung the phone up in my face making me toss it on the couch.
"Your girl tripping foreal." Trey said shaking his head. "From the sound of it she ain't my friend no more. No friend would do that, Joe is playing mind games with her! Knowing him he's making it seem like I'm texting him!" I shook my head just feeling the drama that was yet to come. "Baby don't worry about all that shit. Let her make mistakes & learn from them." He pulled me close kissing my forehead making me weakly smile. "Trey's right girl. Now have a sip." He handed me the glass of brown liquor making me laugh and take a sip.
"He must got some bomb ass dick, I thought Ciara would never turn on you." London laughed trying to be shady. "Not right now London, I don't need no slick jokes. Dude is really messing with her head." I took the brown liquor to the head puckering my lips at the after taste. "I'm sorry, you know I'm here for you." I slowly nodded leaning on Trey for my own support. She had another thing coming.
Made this short because I wasn't too much feeling this part . I'm really starting to get back in touch with this book so don't give up on me yet lol.
