7 - cheaters get cheated on

My eyes widened at his statement, his eyes finally met mine, and him staring into my eyes gave me a sense of adrenaline.

"What?" I choked out, confused at what he's telling me.

"Ever since last night, I can't shake the feeling of what our kiss could've been." He said truthfully, "And I know it's insane because you have a boyfriend, I just thought I should let you know."

I looked down for a second, sorting out all of my thoughts. I definitely wanted to kiss him, but I couldn't do that to Justin. Not ever. I'd have to break up with him first. Well, maybe if kissing Mat is better than Justin, I'll just break up with him?

I looked up at Mat, and his eyes met mine with a sense of hope. This Mat isn't like the Mat that I'm used to. He's not cocky and super confident, he's soft and fragile.

"So have I." I said, not even realizing that the words had slipped out of my mouth. His eyes widened, but a grin then formed on his face.

"1 kiss." I said sternly, "We just see how it feels and that's it. And no telling anyone ever." He nodded, agreeing with my statement.

With that, I slowly moved myself closer to him, and so did Mat. He placed his hand on my cheek, bringing me even closer to him.

I stared into his eyes and I could tell that the tension was killing him because it was killing me too. He slowly closed the space between us and I had never been more in heaven.

My lips danced with his, happy as could be. It felt so good, the knot in the pit of my stomach coming to life, butterflies swarming all around. He kissed me in a way that he knew I wanted more because he kept giving me multiple kisses. He kept pulling away slightly, so I would have to reconnect our kiss, making sure I really wanted this.

After a while, I was the one to pull away. He rested his forehead on mine with a smile, making me smile back.

"I don't even know what to say." I said honestly and he looked at me with a soft smile.

"You don't need to say anything, I know for sure it'll ruin your relationship." He said in a cocky way, knowing that I liked the kiss too.

I rolled my eyes, "Goodnight Mat." He smiled at me, letting me get out of the car, "Goodnight Riley."

The next morning I woke up with a frown. Mats kiss had been so lovely, but Justin was just sitting in the back of my mind everytime I thought about it.

I shouldn't be thinking about it though, we both agreed that it was one kiss just to see how we felt.

I got out of bed and took a shower, trying to let the warm water relieve my stress.
When I got out, I just threw on jeans and a T-shirt.

After eating breakfast, I was sitting down on the couch, holding a sleeping Sammy in my arms.
I felt someone plop down on the couch next to me and I look to see Rebecca.

"Did you see the article that they just posted online?" She asked eagerly, putting her phone in front of me before I could respond.

BREAKING NEWS

While on her "break", pop star Riley Trotz has been seen hanging out with the incredibly talented hockey player, Mathew Barzal. The two have been seen going to dinner together the other night.

While this is going on in New York, Trotz's boyfriend, Justin Bieber, hasn't exactly been innocent either. He has been seen numerous times hanging out with Hailey Baldwin. These two being a little touchy at times as well. Rumour has it that the two were making out on a park bench but no one was quick enough to snap a picture.
