Alright, hi guys. I know I have a lotto explaining do and I know it's been really long. I'm not going to give you my whole life story but I got grounded for a while and I've just genuinely haven't really had any motivation since I got ungrounded. But here I am. REALLY MOTIVATED RIGHT NOW
Well, I hope you guys like it lol. I'm feeling like a crackhead right now.
Let's just say, the game did not go well at all. We started off winning 1-0, and ended the game by losing 4-1. To the Kings of all teams.
I knew that my dad was going to be in a bad mood, as did the rest of the family, so we just kind of left him alone after the game, keeping him involved in the conversation, jut not really talking to him.
Unfortunately, Mat was the same exact way. After the game, I went up to him and he was really upset, I could just tell.
"Hey, I know how you get after games like this. And even though I tell you this a million times, it's nothing to stick through that big head of yours. One game does not define you and you cannot blame yourself for the whole thing." I said, after his attitude was getting the best of me.
He let out a frustrated sigh as we walked to our car and ran a hand through his wet hair, "I know. It just sucks when the anger gets the best of you because it takes a while to go away." He said, and connected my hand with his, not saying anything more.
Right as we reached the car, Mat spun me around and pinned me against the door of the car, attaching his lips to mine. The kiss was rough and it was almost as if we couldn't get enough of each other, needing each other instead of oxygen. I then heard the click of a camera and instantly froze.
After hearing another one, I pulled away from Mat, trying to play if off, "Let's go in the car." Mat smirked, thinking I was playing, "One more kiss and then we'll in the car."
I shook my head, "I heard a camera, we need to go." Mat instantly unlocked his car and let the both of us inside before letting out a breath, "Why are they literally everywhere?" He asked with a groan.
I frowned, not wanting to say anything because I was the reason that there were paparazzi around him in the first place. What would it be like if he didn't date me? Would he not have to deal with the paps then?
"Earth to Riley." Mat said, placing a hand in front of my face while driving at the same time, "You alright? You spaced out." He said, looking over at me briefly before looking back at the road.
I nodded my head and cleared my throat, "Uh, yeah, I was just thinking." I said as he pulled up in front of my house. I could see the commotion of all of the people in the house from their silhouettes moving around the house.
"About what?" He asked, putting the car in park and turning to face me. I shook my head, trying to give a reassuring smile, "Nothing, I'm good."
Matt frowned and hit the lock button on the door, "I'm not letting you out until you tell me."
I sighed and turned to face him, "I just feel bad because now you have more media attention than you had on you in the first place because of me. And I know it causes a lot of stress so I feel bad."
He grabbed my hand, "Hey, the media or paparazzi don't matter in the slightest bit. It might be a downside at times, but they don't mean anything at the end of the day." He said, running circles on my hand.
I smiled and kissed his cheek, "Good to know." He nodded his head and his phone began to ring.
I frowned, "I'm gonna head inside, I'll see you tomorrow, okay."He nodded his head and gave me a quick peck on my lips before answering the call. I happily got out of the car and started to make my way inside of the house.
