(M/n) laid on his bed, his arm over his eyes. He was contemplating his actions. The expression Light had made was burned into his memory. That moment of kindness on his face had morphed into a chilling expression. Now, (M/n) was sure that his suspicions had been confirmed.

Light. . . Was Kira. Many people would probably think that his thought process of how he'd come to this conclusion was irrational, but (M/n) didn't care. All he paid attention to was his gut feeling, which was always right. Just at the thought of his crush being the killer made his chest tight. He clenched his hands into fists.

Images of his father flashed in his mind. That gentle smile of his. The way he comforted him whenever he was upset. What came after those cherished memories. . . Was his death. The way he convulsed after telling his son that tomorrow, his sentence would be lifted.

(M/n) gritted teeth. He shot up from his bed, trying not to let the tears forming in his eyes to fall. In anger, and grief, he began to toss things in his room. A lamp went crashing to the ground, then his laptop, and so on. He watched as the valuable items fell to the ground and broke. His breaths were raspy and quick. Why? Why did it have to be you, dad?

(M/n) slumped to the ground, no longer being able to hold in the tears. He sobbed softly, his pain only worsening. Why was Light such an evil bastard? Why did he have to kill his father? (M/n) didn't even wince as the scattered pieces of his lamp's light-bulb managed to stab his kneecaps. He could only think about his father who hadn't deserved death.

(M/n) jolted when his door was slammed open. He immediately wiped at his tears before turning his eyes to his bedroom door. Matsuda had his hands on his knees, panting heavily. "A-Are you alright?" Asked Matsuda as he tried to regain his breaths.

(M/n) nodded his head though he really wasn't. Matsuda took a while before his breaths became normal. He took in the sight of (M/n)'s room and then the boy himself. (M/n) was a wreck.

Matsuda easily saw through his lies. He rushed over and before (M/n) could even say anything, the older male embraced him. (M/n) choked out another sob as Matsuda's gentle hug slowly tightened.

He knew how much it hurt Matsuda whenever he got upset over his father's death. Matsuda had left his reports out on his desk, it was how (M/n) had found out. He no longer had reports since L told them that Kira might end up getting it if they had their notes in paper form and if he managed to seize them, they were all dead.

"Cry all you want, Jaehyung. I'm here for you." Matsuda murmured. The male was always there for him. (M/n) didn't know what he'd do without him. (M/n) cried his eyes out on Matsuda's shoulder for a whole hour. Finally, his tears came to a stop and all that came out was soft sniffles. Matsuda's grip loosened once he heard (M/n)'s cries come to an end.

"Come with me to the kitchen. I need to treat your knees." Matsuda mumbled as he pulled (M/n) up with him. (M/n) shook his head.

"Matsu, I'm fine. . ." (M/n) murmured. Now he had cried it all out and the tight pain in his chest lessened, he could feel the flaring pain in his kneecaps. Matsuda grumbled and didn't believe (M/n)'s words. Not one bit.

He grasped (M/n)'s wrist and led him downstairs. (M/n) sighed but said nothing more. He knew that his eyes must be swollen from all the crying. He was never afraid to express his emotions in front of Matsuda. Matsuda never judged the male and had been there for him ever since his father's death.

(M/n) let Matsuda seat him down on one of the stools in the kitchen. He bit his lip as he watched Matsuda pull up his jean legs. There was quite a lot of blood slipping down his leg. Matsuda sighed and shook his head.

"You are just so careless sometimes. I know you get angry about what Kira did to your father. . . But I don't want you to hurt yourself." Matsuda stated as he pressed a cloth doused in antiseptic onto (M/n)'s open knee wounds. (M/n) tensed, letting out a small hiss. Matsuda quickly cleaned up (M/n)'s knees, not wanting to cause him too much distress.
