WOOYOUNG

"sorry, i'll try to stop 'speeding.' whatever that is," san promised as he parked his luxury car in their underground parking lot.

wooyoung slowly let go of the grab handles on the ceiling of the car and glared at the gang leader, "you said that before we even got in the car!"

"and i'm saying it now," san retorted, unbuckling his seat belt and getting out of his car, not turning back to even acknowledge wooyoung.

wooyoung rolled his eyes and followed the older man into the abandoned building.

as soon as they entered, san furrowed his eyebrows. he could've sworn something was wrong.

the building was always gloomy, but right now it seemed darker. like something was missing.

san hurried down the long, bare corridors and rounded each corner sharply. wooyoung quickened his pace to keep up, but the elder was walking like the flash.

"s-san slow down!" wooyoung managed to say through his pants.

but san didn't listen. he quickened his pace until he was met with a huge, dark set of stairs seemingly leading into an abyss.

without a second thought, san scurried down the threatening stairs, leaving wooyoung at the top, looking down into the void.

"well, i'm already lost. might as well," wooyoung reasoned in his head and hurried after the leader.

once wooyoung reached the bottom of the (unnecessarily long) staircase he found himself in yet another maze.

"how many hallways can a building have before it's considered a fire hazard?" he muttered bitterly.

he was about to run through a random hall before he heard footsteps traveling down the one on his left.

so, he followed them.

once he ran through the black hall putting all his trust in a higher power that he didn't run into any monsters, or worse, people.

wooyoung found himself face-to-face with a large, iron door. the same type of door that sealed his room.

wooyoung struggled for a good five minutes to open the door himself before someone else, from the inside, opened it for him.

it was san.

wooyoung never thought he'd be happy to see the face of a gang leader.

san looked tired, frightened, but also... worried? he'd only ever seen that look on a mother who had lost her child in a grocery store.

when wooyoung entered the room, he looked astonished. there were screens everywhere. they lit up the room with blue light that nearly blinded the younger upon entering.

dozens of them, maybe even over a hundred, surveillance monitors of every room in the building.

the drug rooms, the members rooms, the operation rooms, everything was closely monitored. almost all of them were vacant except for mingi and hongjoong in one of the arms rooms, yunho in one of the operation rooms, and jungho in one of the drug rooms.

"fuck, where is he?" san muttered under his breath as he ran a hand through his hair roughly.

wooyoung looked at him, puzzled. where was who? he looked through the monitors again and his eyes widened.

seonghwa was no where to be found.

he carefully examined every video tape, and he couldn't find the elder.
