Kion felt his eyes tear up.  He couldn't hold them back anymore.  The tears streamed down his face.  He lost all his blood relatives in the span of a week.  Kiara might come back, but his parents were gone.

"Kion?"  Fuli walked out of their den and looked worriedly at Kion.  He didn't answer, so Fuli moved closer and pressed her pelt against his.  "What's wrong?"

"My family."  Kion sobbed.  "You and Kovu are the only ones left."

"They're my family as well."  Fuli consoled, nuzzling Kion.  "Kiara will come back to us."

"But I can't fight her."  Kion responded.

"I don't think I could fight my brother, either."  Fuli replied, pulling away.  "Or Kiara."

"Do you know anything about your brother?"  Kion wiped his eyes with his paw.

"I talked to my parents earlier today," Fuli answered, "and they explained more to me.  His name is Kukimb.  He was always at my side when I was younger.  I'm surprised I never saw him after Simba took me in."

Something went off inside Kion's head as Fuli explained who Kukimb was.  "Are Timon and Pumbaa okay?  Ono's flock? Basi?  Hadithi and the other birds?"

"I don't know."  Fuli heard the urgency in Kion's voice.  "Why?"

"Kiongozi targeted Simba and Nala first."  Kion started.  "Then took Kiara and Kukimb, our siblings who were closest to."

"And it makes sense for him to target the rest of the Guard's family now."  Fuli finished.

"Kion!"  Anga called.  "Fuli!"

"Anga!"  Kion looked up.  "Why are you here at this time?"

"Kiongozi."  Anga flew down to hover in front of the two felines.  "He's sent an army to invade the Pride Lands."

"Who's at the front?"  Kion stood up quickly.

"Kiara."  Anga answered.

"Behind her?"  Fuli stood up.

"A cheetah."  Anga looked at Fuli.  "That looks like you."

"Any other animals you recognize?"  Kion asked.

"Not that I remember."  Anga answered.

"Get the rest of the Guard."  Kion ordered.  "Lead them to where Kiongozi's army is entering."

"On it."  Anga flew off.

Once Anga was gone, Kion looked at Fuli.  "Can you spot them?"

"Too dark."  Fuli responded.  "I can't see well in this darkness."

Kion opened his jaws to taste the air.  "Found them.  Follow me."

Kion lead Fuli to a clearing not too far from the Outlands, where Kiara was leading a group who were fighting Pride Landers.  Once Kiara spotted Kion, she stopped fighting and spoke in a voice that sounded like hers, but wasn't.  "Ah, Kion, leader of the Lion Guard.  So glad you could make it.  It's been hard trying to break you, but I've finally found that Kiara is the perfect way."  Kiara looked at Fuli.  "I've also something for you."

After Kiara spoke, a cheetah that looked like Fuli ran out to stand beside Kiara.  "Hello, Fuli."  When Fuli didn't answer, the cheetah spoke again.  "You must know that I'm Kukimb.  There will be cubs soon."  As Kukimb said that, he walked towards Kiara.

"Not your cubs."  Kiara swatted Kukimb away.  "Kovu's.  And the cubs will be in three moons."

Enough time to get Kiara back.  Kion thought before Bunga came running and jumped onto Kukimb.  Fuli looked up.  "Bunga!  Be careful!  Don't kill him!"
