Readers POV

It's been a month since the events of the Emerald forest, Little to Y/n's knowledge he wasn't aware that the whole thing was being live-streamed to the entire school and that he's gained a lot of unwanted attention as the new star of the famous team CFVY. Thanks to that Y/n finds yourself hiding away in Professor Peach's green house, out of all the professors at the school you found that you got along with her the best due to both of your love for plant life, she had even given you a key so you were free to come and go as you please.

Velvet: (Entering the greenhouse) Hey Y/n are you in here?

You: (standing up covered in dirt) Yeah I'm right here.

Velvet: Hard at work with your plants again, couldn't you just speed up their growth with your semblance.

You: I could but I like it better to see them grow through their own strength.

Velvet: I see.

You: So what brings you here Velvet?

Velvet: (blushing) Oh well you see, Coco went out shopping and Fox and Yatsu decided to go train. So I was wondering if you'd like to go have lunch with me?

You: Sure sounds nice just let me get changed and I'll meet you in the cafeteria.

Velvet: (happily) Alright, I'll be waiting.

After getting changed you made your way to the cafeteria but as you rounded the corner you bumped into someone knocking them to the ground . Looking down you saw a young girl in a red hood, you instantly recognized the girl as Ruby Rose. She just like you had been let into Beacon under special circumstances. Except unlike you she was two years younger than her fellow first years and also the leader of her team, the others of team CFVY seemed especially interested in the younger team so naturally your curiosity to know them increased as well.

Ruby: (panicked) I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going, I'm such a klutz.

You: (smiles and holds out hand) It's fine, I should've been more aware of my surroundings.

She slowly takes your hand, As she looks up and she meets your sharp e/c eyes her face lit up with excitement and recognition.

Ruby: You, I know you, your the new member of team CFVY, Y/n Yoko. I saw the stream of you in the emerald forest, you were so cool.

You: (helps her to feet) Thank you and I know about you as well Ruby Rose, your quite famous around school.

Ruby: (rubs the back of her head) I'm not that great, I just have a good team.

You: (smiles) I see.

The girl sells herself short, you had seen the recording of this year's freshman initiation, although she was rash and impulsive, Ruby had not only gained the cooperation of student older than her she had came up with a plan that took out a rather impressive sized Nevermore. She reminded you a bit of Clive.

???: Hey Ruby what's the hold up?

A blonde girl you recognized as Yang Xaio Long followed by a white haired girl who was Weiss Schnee and a dark Faunus haired girl which  was Blake Belladonna all came following after Ruby.

Weiss: (notices you) Hey aren't you the new addition team CFVY?

You: Yes but you can just call me Y/n.
