Patton's Dad POV(changing it up 😉)
~Before the hospital(so like many chapters before)~

I was running late when my son texted me(he didn't text and drive, don't do that) that they were going to work on the group project at our house. I remember Patton telling me of this one boy that they were placed into a group with. Patton was so excited for me to meet him.

When I finally pulled up to the school I started to panic. I saw an ambulance speeding away. I anxiously looked for my son, pulling by the curve. I sighed in relief as I saw Patton, with his best friends. Though the relief was soon replaced with worry when I saw the state of the boys.
I quickly turned the car off and rushed to my son!
Patton's blonde hair was a mess, tear tracks ran down his pale face. Blue eyes shining with despair. With great detail Patton told me what happened. A frown made way on my face, knowing those signs.
Working with the foster system I've seen these signs with traumatic experiences.
I told them to get in the car and drove to the hospital.

When we got there I quickly went and talked to the people working at the front desk.
It was now a waiting game.

We saw the police talking to a doctor. I knew it was about Virgil, the boys seemed to not notice. The doctor that was talking to the police came towards us.
"Are you here for Mr. Virgil Night?" The Doctor asks
"Yes" we all repeat to him
"Are you his father?" The doctor asks facing me
"No, I'm Patton's father," I then pointed towards my son. The doctor nodded
"Virgil will make it, but you can't see him yet. We still have somethings to sort out."
The doctor said, a sad look on his face
"Will you excuse me?" The doctor asks, then starts to walk away. We look to see police coming and the doctor talking to him again and pointing to us. They nod and come up to us.
"Hello can we talk to you all?" One of the police officers ask.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They talk to us only for a little bit, since we didn't know him a long time.
I called Logan and Roman's parents. Then started a group chat with Logan's mom and Roman's dad.
I caught a glimpse of Virgil, the state of his wings
Poor kid
I knew I had to do something
