A//N: This is what Tom's eyes used to look like. Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, enjoy!
//Tord's POV///
It's been a day since I've seen Tom, and I've been avoiding him like the plague. I dont think hes seen me yet, which is great.
But, at least some things are brightening up for me. Edd and Matt, my new neighbors, invited me over for lunch and to hang out. Maybe I can get my mind off Tommy for a little bit.
I also remember Edd and Matt from highschool, too. They would often hang out with Tom and sometimes with me. Later in Highschool, they started ignoring Tom a lot more, and hanging out with him less. His 'replacement' was...well...me.
Tom was sweet to me at first, I remember his blue eyes. He helped my learn English and study for tests, but after Edd and Matt started replacing him...I cant say I blame him.
I miss his blue eyes. And they were seriously blue, to the point where kids at school thought he was wearing contacts. But I knew they were his real eyes.
They were beautiful with his freckles and pail skin.
So you probably believed my surpise when he came to school without those ocean eyes.
I tried my best to conceal him, we all did, but...Tom was different, so fucking different.
But, hey, this us my chance to get my mind off him.
I knocked on Edd and Matt's apartment door, and they answer it happily.
"Hey, Tord! It's good to see you again!" Edd said, "God, things have changed since highschool, huh?" Edd said, pulling me into the apartment.
I laughed as he patted my back. "Yeah, a lot has changed. Say, where is Matt?"
"HERE!"
Matt popped his head out of the kitchen. "Nice to see you, Todd!"
"Nice to see you too, Matt!" I say, smiling.
God, I missed this. Surrounded by friendly voices and faces, familiar people talking to me.
"Lunch is ready!" Matt said, placing a pot of pasta on the table.
Edd instantly pushed me into a chair, and sat down next to Matt, taking his hand.
When he did that, I instantly remembered they were a couple back in highschool.
"So, you guys are still a thing, huh?" I said, rolling up the sleeves of my hoodie.
Edd and Matt nodded happily.
"Yeah," Matt said, "I honestly don't like the idea of not having someone to fetch my mirrors!
Edd chuckles "I dont like the idea of not seeing his face everyday."
I smile. I like that they were still going strong, even though I was a signal bastard.
"Hey, what about you, Tord? Anyone in your life?" Edd asked.
Instantly I thought of Tommy. Classic, stupid, Tom.
"N-no." I managed to say, putting a large amount of pasta into my mouth.
Matt quirked an eyebrow. "Really? No one?"
Edd slapped me on my arm. "No one, please Tord, you read hentai for crying out loud!"
"What's hentai?"
"Its Nothing, Matt." Edd said quickly, tightening his hand around Matt's.
"Either way," Edd said, turning back to me. "There has to be someone."
Right as I was about to answer, the front door opened. I swung my head back, and my eyes widened.
It was Tom.
He was standing in the door way, bags full of food in his hand, His other hand rummaging in his back pocket. He pulled out his phone, clicked something, then, finally looked up.
His eyes widened as they met mine. They were just like the ones I remembered, dark and unknown. The secrets and pain of all those years seemed to be locked away somewhere far. I wanted to look at them for eternity, but he only looked for a split secound.
"Hey, Tim!" Matt said happily, "Thanks for getting the groceries!"
"The names, Tom, and no problem, it was my turn anyway." Tom said, he voice cool and flat.
"Tord came over, he lives in the same apartment, we should all catch up a little bit!" Edd said, watching Tom.
Tom nodded, walking toward the kitchen, "Yeah, just let me put the groceries away."
I faced the table again.
"T-Tord? Are you okay?" Edd asked examining my face. When he pointed this out, I immediately realised how fast my heartrate was. It pounded through my chest like a drum.
"Y-Yeah," I said, forcing a smile. "Where's your bathroom?"
The secound I was in the bathroom, I sat down on the floor and clutched at my heart rate.
"What the faen was that?"
I knew that there were definitely some feeling for Tom, but I didnt expect this. I hadn't seen him for years! Did I really miss him that much?
I stood up, my legs shaking, and walked to the sink.
I examined my face, running my fingers over my nose.
"What the..."
My face was red, a deep blush had already set in. I looked like someone who had just seen their dad fucking their mom by accident.
"Faen..." I said slightly. Did Tommy really have that much power over me? Was I already in his trap?
"Tord! You okay?" I hear Matt call from the dining room.
"Sorry, I'll be back in a secound!" I say, turning the faucet on.

♧Tom's POV♧
Tord has been looking at me from across the table for a soild 5 minutes. And I was pretending that he was looking pasted me at the vase of Tuilips.
I was trying my best to pretend that I was focusing more on the pasta on my plate, then Tords stare.
"So, Tord, what have you done with yourself?" Edd asked, twirling his pasta on his fork.
"Oh," Tord very quickley turned his gaze to his own plate, pretending that he hadn't been looking at me for the passed few minutes. "I'm going to school for strategy and economics." He rubbed the back of his neck, "I guess I kinda turned into a nerd over the years." He chuckled at his own joke, his silver eyes twinkling.
"Where are you staying?" Matt asked. "I think you told Edd, but you didnt tell Tim or me."
Tord and everyone else started talking, as I started to zone out.
Does Tord really think that I wouldnt notice him? Hes been living in the same apartment for at least a few months and he saw me a mere 24 hours ago.
Is he going to act like he wasnt watching me while Edd and Matt were distracted?
Wuss.
I wonder why Tord had been watching me, why he acted like he had never, ever seen me in his entire life.
Eh, I'll ask him later.
Meaning, I never asked him.
I know. I'm soooooo smart.
