///Tom's POV///
A pretty strawberry blonde girl stared at me. Her purple dress swayed slightly in the wind.
She looked at me, before looking behind me. "Oh, hello." She said like I was the visitor instead of her. "Is Tord here?"
I wanted to slam the door in her face.
I had just learned that Tord was the killer, I didn't need someone else to find out too.
I was about to say no, and go back to Tord until she looked over my shoulder.
Lavender smiled, "Hi Tord, can I talk to you for a moment?" She said, her words coming off like honey.
I wanted to glare, she made me feel so very upset. But, I couldn't figure out why. Also, I couldn't just yell at her for no reason, that would be absurd.
I glanced behind me at Tord and he looked back at me, before glancing at Lavender.
I swear I could see the gears turning in his brain. Tord nodded, walking over.
He snaked his arm around my waist, pulling me close. Lavender took a deep breath of air, and I could tell it irritated her.
"What do you need?" Tord asked, looking at her.
"I wanted to talk to you in private," Lavender said, side-eyeing me.
Tord shook his head, pulling me closer. "No, Tom going hear about this one way or another. You might as well say it in front of both of us."
Lavender stiffened, before saying, "Red chalk." Then, she turned and left.
I imminently shut the door, before turning and looking at Tord. "She knows," I said, my eyes full of fear. "She knows and she's planning something."
Tord looked at me, before looking back at the door. "Should I..." His voice drifted off as he looked back at me.
I knew exactly what he was asking.
"No!" I said, "No, no, no! You're not killing her!" I said, furious that he could even think such a thing.
"You've already taken four lives!" I yelled, clutching my fists and staring at him.
Tord looked down, ashamed.
"Why?" I asked, glaring. "Why did you kill them?"
"Because..." Tord said, still looking down. He went silent for a little as he stared at the floor and I stared at him. "I'm not sure how I can tell you this..."
I glared more, anger voiling up inside of me. "You better figure out how!" I said, my voice on the line between yelling and scolding.
"I..." Tord rubbed his lips together before glancing to the side. "I did it for you..."
My heart stopped.
It suddenly all made sense.
Tord was there when I jumped from my window, he seemed so angry when Emma and Michelle showed up, and, on top of that, he had pushed Edd and Matt out of the way, just to be closer to me.
Tord looked at me, then looked back at the ground.
I wasn't sure to feel happy or want to kill him myself. No, that will make me just as bad as him.
I did know what I was going to do just then. I was leaving and I wasn't coming back.
"I'm going." I said bluntly, grabbing my bag, "Stay away from me."
Tord's head instantly shot up. "W-what?" He said, looking so hurt I almost felt bad.
Almost, but not quite.
"I'm going," I repeated, "I'm not going to give you anymore reasons to kill anyone."
Tord just stared at me, stunned. He looked ready to cry.
I opened the door and swept out, shutting it, quickly behide me.
Then was a sudden "Crunch!" Under my shoe. I looked down and saw that there was a bouquet of flowers laying in the welcome mat.
It has lillies, daisies, lavenders, roses, and so many other flowers I couldn't identify. The bouquet was pretty, really pretty.
I felt more angry than I ever had when I laid my eyes on it.
It was clearly was that girl! Didn't you know when to stop!? She saw Tord with his arms around me! She saw Tord with me! He wasn't with her! My fists clenched.
I reached down, grabbed the bouquet, ran, and lunched it over the side of the building.
I gripped the side of the railing, my knuckles turning white.
Tord was with me...
Tord wanted me...
Tord liked me! Not her!
I glared at the horizon, even though it had done nothing wrong.
"If you thought that, why didn't you say so, Jehova?" Tord's voice came behide me.
I turned around, my heart beating fast.
He wasn't there.
Then, I knew...
"I'm going crazy."
