Blood poured from their mouth, staining the white linen red.

She reached her hand out them, trying to help them. Blood continued to pour.

The sound of their screams fulled the large house, petals of flowers blowing through the vents.

She knelt down, pushing their shoulders back, lay them down.

They turned to the side, vomiting more blood and petals.

They were out of time.

They were dead.

The women laid down next to them. Picking up one of the petals, that was dipped in blood.

She turned it around looking at all sides of it. Her blond hair was drenched in red blood.

She placed it down and looked at them.

"Lilies are my favorite flower. And you were throwing up lilies."

She reached her hand out and traced their cheek with her hand.

"Was I the one that caused you all this pain? The one who did not see your love?"

She gently grabbed their shoulders, lifting them up. She hugged them and pressed her nose into their red hair.

She kissed the top of their head, her hand in the back of their neck.

"I'm sorry. But, I promise, I'll see you soon."

The woman committed suicide 3 days later.

"Can anyone explain to me why they died?"

Tord turned his head and stared out the window.

Red flowers drifted passed from trees, that were planted next to the gym.

"Tom?" The teacher said, "Are you listening?"

Tord's eyes followed everyone else's and he stared back at the boy.

Tom's head was tilted toward the window, the sun casting a shadow across his pale face.

Tom's head didn't move, but Tord had the feeling his eyes did, and the seemed to move toward the teacher.

Tom rubbed his lips together, "Sorry Mr. William." Tom said, his head still toward the window. "I'm admiring the flowers."

"You mean you were admiring the flowers, Mr. Wood," Mr.Willam said, his eyes slightly glaring.

"No," Tom said in a voice as quiet as the wind. "I was admiring the flowers. And I still am."

"Detention, Mr. Wood."

Tom continued to stare out the window as blood-colored flowers drifted pasted.

"So, moving on from Mr. Wood's rude interruption....."

Mr. Brown's voice drifted away with the flowers.

"Tord!" My boss's voice broke through my thoughts.

I wiped my head around, snacking it on the tabletop behind me.

"Faen...." I said, rubbing my forehead. I turn to look at him.

"Y-yes?" I asked, straightening up.

I had been working in a gun shop for the past 2 months and I can't say I 'Love' my job. It's just a temporary thing until I have my college years over with. What? I have to pay the rent somehow.

My boss looked at me than clicked his tongue making a 'tsk' sound.

"Look, kid, I know you're going through some stuff but everyone knows that the ammo is always next to the counter."

I look back at the stock I had just stacked up. It was in fact supposed to be next to the counter.

I rubbed my forehead. "I'm really sorry, sir," I said, and I was truly sorry. I didn't like the thought that someone else would have to fix my problems.

I made a quick side glance at the clock.

12:23

My shift was over, and I had to book it over to campus if I didn't want Mrs. Harrison to kick my butt.

My boss looked at the clock too, then sighed.

"Alright, see ya kid." He said, walking into the back.

I didn't waste time, I was out of there the second he was in the back.

When I was walking home from campus, a bunch of thoughts flooded my head. (They were mostly about how the fuck I was gonna eat today)

I was almost home, then, I saw him.

I quickly ducked behind a tree, my heart tapping insanely fast against my ribs.

"Faen, did he see me?"

I peek my head around the corner of the tree, my eyes pressed shut. I slowly opened them, seeing him again.

It was almost like a dream.

He was unlocking his front door or trying to, he was having trouble with his keys. His side turned to me, those pitch dark eyes staring down. His pale skin fresh like snow. He was a little taller now, just ever so slightly, his nails were painted black now too. His door was open now and he was inside.

My dream only lasted for a moment.

I kept my eyes glued to the door that he walked through before I went behind the tree again. I slid on the trunk, gripping my shirt. My heart still beats ever so fast. I almost expected to see him be like a nightmare, I'm not sure why...

The elephant in the room was the fact he now lived right next door.

And I've been thinking about him for a solid two weeks.

Life sure has its coincidences,  huh?
