The Compliment
Ellie's POV
"What about this one Ellie? Maganda oh." Nico said, showing me the lavender peplum dress he was holding.
"Hmmm. Pwede rin. Pero gusto ko talaga either black or white, para hindi masyadong mag stick out." I said, then started searching through the other dresses on the dress rack.
"Guys! What do you think!?" Madonna asked, emerging from the dressing room wearing a backless, above knee length dress with ruffles, with dazzling sequins embroidered around the dress.
"WOW! Ang sexy mo teh!" Chelle commented.
"Fierce ba? Tingin mo magugustuhan ng mga boys?" She asked,
"Kaw talaga! Boys ka ng boys! Ang landeeeeehh!" Fran commented.
"Malandi na kung malandi, malay mo mahanap ko si Mr. Dreamboy ko dun!" Madonna said,
"Tsss. Mr. Dreamboy? Ansavehhh teh!" Chelle commented.
"Huy Michelle ha! Tigil tigilan mo ko ha! Di naman lahat ng tao kagaya mo, may Vito de Rossi na, may Christopher Ty pa! Bongga!" Madonna exclaimed.
"Ay, sino si Christopher Ty?" I asked,
"Yung isa pang manliligaw nyan teh. Chinito, mayaman, matalino, gwapo." Gretch explained,
"At tsaka swimmer! Ang yummy ng katawan! Hahaha!" Madonna added,
"Sinong yummy? Ako ba ang pinaguusapan nyo?" Vito butted in, winking at Chelle.
He put his arms around Chelle's shoulders. Chelle removed it immediately.
"Ayyyy! Ang feeling! Si Topher, hindi ikaw!" Madonna replied,
"Yung Topher na yun? Tssss. Halata namang mas gwapo ako dun eh! At mas marami pa kung muscles dun eh, ako six pack, eh yun two pack lang! Ubod pa nang yabang yun! Ang sarap bugbugin!" Vito said,
"Uy! Grabe ka naman Vito! Baka ikaw ang may two pack... Topak sa utak!" Gretch said,
"Uy grabe ka naman Gretch. Pero tama ka, may topak ako. Pero hindi sa utak kundi sa puso. I'm crazy, crazy inlove with you, Michelle Alcantara!" Vito replied, pointing at Chelle.
I saw Chelle turn as red as a tomato. Kinikilig siguro. Eh, sino bang hindi kikiligin sa mga banat na ganun.
"Che!!!. Dyan na nga kayo!" Chelle said, walking out.
"Wait Babe!" Vito said, going after her.
"Oh maiba na lang tayo, naka pili ka naba ng dress Ellie?" Gretch asked.
"Di pa eh. Ang raming magaganda pero I don't think they'll look nice on me." I said, pouting.
"Ikaw teh? Won't look nice on you? Kahit ano ngang suotin mo eh, magiging maganda sa'yo." Gretch said,
"Oo nga Ellie. Tama si Gretch. You'll look great on anything. Heck, you can wear a potato sack and you'll still pull it off. Alam mo kung bakit?" Nico started,
"Bakit?" I asked,
"Because you're beautiful just the way you are. You're one of the most beautiful women I know." Nico said, smiling at me.
I felt my cheeks burning up.
Eeeeehhh, bakit ka ba ganyan Nico????
Shettttt! Kinikilig ako!
"Ayyyyy! Ansavehhh! Totoo ba ang naririnig ko? The Dominico Montealegre complimenting someone beautiful!? Wow ha!" Madonna said,
"Oo nga Bro. First time to ah. Kadarasan sexy, pretty, at hot lang ang compliments mo sa mga girls. Pero kay Ellie, beautiful!" Bernard added,
I felt myself growing redder. Awww, natouch naman ako dun. Ako lang ang tinawag nyang beautiful.
Hayyyy. Wag kang magfeeling Ellie.
"Oh Eleanora Tan, what have you done to Dominico Montealegre?" Alvin asked dramatically.
"Mga ulol! Kung ano anong pinagsasabi nyo!" Nico said, hitting both Bernard and Alvin.
Then he turned to me and said "Ellie, wag mong masyadong intindihin ang mga yan ha. Pero totoo yung sinabi ko sa'yo ha? You're beautiful."
"Salamat." I replied, looking directly in his eyes, smiling wide.
"So ano guys, maganda ba tong dress ko o hindi!?" Madonna asked, breaking the silence.
We all burst to laughs.
*sigh*
What good have I done to be blessed with such amazing friends?
