The Movie Night
Ellie's POV
"Oh. San kayo nanggaling?" Tita Marianne asked us.
We just got home from the grocery.
"Naggrocery lang Ma." Nico replied.
"Grocery? Ang rami pa namang nating stock na grocery ha?" Tita Marianne said, looking confused.
"Yun nga rin ang sabi ko Tita eh." I said.
"Basta nga. Maraming kulang. Basta." Nico said,
"Surprise daw eh Tita." I said,
"Hayyyy, for all I know, pumaparaan lang si Kuya. To spend time with you Ate. Uyyyyyy!" Sofia butted in.
I blushed.
Is that the reason why Nico asked me to go with him?
So we can spend time together?
Yieeeeeee!
Wag kang feeling Ellie.
"Haist Sofia. Kung ano anong pimagsasabi mo." Nico said. He then started walking towards the kitchen to put away the things we bought.
"Hahahahah. Uyyyy! Magblublush ka Kuya oh!" Sofia teased.
I looked at Nico. His ears were turning red.
"Oh sya sya. Halina nga kayo. Dinner is almost ready. I cooked your favorite Ellie. Dim Sum." Tita Marianne said.
"Talaga Tita? Wow naman. Thanks po. I can't wait to taste it." I said,
"You're welcome hija. Oh sya, magpreprepare lang ako." Tita said,
"Oh Sofia! Tama na nga ang kaka text mo dyan. Go get ready na." Tita said to Sofia.
"Yeah Ma. Wait. Importante lang to." Sofia said without taking her glance off of we phone.
"Psssssh. Ma, baka boyfriend nya yang tinetext nya." Nico said, finally coming back.
"Oh anong boyfriend boyfriend na yan? Sofia, studies first ha." Tita Marianne said, then went into the kitchen.
"Hayyyy. Kuya. Nakakairita ka." Sofia said then walked towards the dining room.
"Let's go." Nico said to me.
We then proceeded to the dining room as well.

"Ma, hindi ba natin iintayin si Papa?" Sofia asked.
"Hayyyyyy. Ewan ko ba dun. Busy daw eh." Tita Marianne replied.
Nico was being a perfect gentleman by serving me food.
"LQ Ma?" Sofia asked while taking a bite of dim sum.
"Anong LQ LQ ka dyan? Hoiiiii Sofia Marie ha! Kung ano anong pinagsasabi mo!" Tita Marianne said.
"Eeeeeeeehhhh si Mama oh! Bat ka ba nagagalit? Nagtatanong lang." Sofia said.
"What are you guys fighting about Ma?" Nico asked.
"Wala nga." Tita Marianne said. There was hesitance in her voice.
"Sige na Ma. You can tell us." Sofia said.
Tita Marianne sighed in surrender.
"Ang Papa nyo kasi eh. It's like he never has time for me anymore. Lagi nalang trabaho ang inaatupag. Sabi ko naman sa kanya na he should retire na eh. Para maipasa na namin ang business sa'yo Nico." Tita Marianne said.
