"So..." Lucas said expecting Will to say something.

"I told him" Will finally confessed.

He was at Lucas room sitting on a couch while the taller boy was sitting on the bed. He had arrived early, he had to tell Lucas about what happened with Mike yesterday.

Besides Eleven and Mike, Lucas was of the few people that knew about Will's feelings for his best friend, so he always talked to Lucas about his crush on Mike (besides Eleven) and the taller boy used to give him advices.

"What?! How?" Lucas was excited to know every detail about how Will confessed to Mike, he was one of the people who encouraged Will to confess Mike his feelings, it was now or never, just like he told the brunette.

"Well probably not in a sweet way." Will said, cringing at last night's memory.

"What did you do now Byers?" Lucas asked with a little smile and wide eyes, to what the brunette chuckled a little.

"I was just so frustrated at the time and I just said everything I thought I didn't even think twice, I told him I don't like girls and... that I like him." the smaller boy said scratching the back of his neck.

"Well what did he say?" Lucas asked, eager to know every detail.

"He told me he needed to think and before he could say anything else I left." Will shrugged.

"Woah"

"But that's not the important part"

"Well then go on I want to know everything"

Will laughed at this, it was priceless to see how Lucas goes excited about some teenage romance drama.

"I arrived to the cabin, no one was at home so I-I...just stayed there and then I heard a voice comming from outside the cabin." the brunette said, smiling a little at the memory.

"Was it Mike?!" Lucas exclaimed.

"Yes he was!" Will said more than excited. Lucas opened his mouth in surprise.

"And he started saying... actually lots of things, but he told me that he thinks he loves me too. And that there's nothing wrong with my feelings for boys...or for him" Will said with a smile on his face.

"Oh god Will! I told you he likes you
back!" Lucas said kicking the smaller's shoulder playfully.

"Now what should I do?" Will asked, laughing at his friend's actions.

"Just go and talk to him" the taller boy simply answered.

"And what should I say?" the brunette asked while furrowing his eyebrows.

"Just whatever that comes on your mind"

"What if I say something wrong?" Will asked nervously. He couldn't make a mistake this time.

"Just be yourself, don't try to force things and this time listen what he wants to say"

"Okay, thank you Lucas!"

"Sure Byers!"

And with that Will left Lucas house and started riding his bike back to the cabin.

He had in mind his friend's words, he got this.

When he arrived inside the cabin, he found Mike and Eleven sitting on the couch of the living room, both talking and laughing, thing that totally made Will wanna cry. So he made his way to his room quickly and shut the door closed.

It wasn't fair, maybe he was right and Mike would never reciprocate the feelings for him.

Mike however followed him quickly as soon as he saw him and knocked Will's door.
