Chapter 5: Bye

Patton POV

I woke to a splitting headache. But even more wired I woke in a castle. Not tied up. Not in a dungeon but in a very comfy bed. I realized I was laying on my back head facing a painted ceiling.

"What the hell" I muttered sitting up. I took a quick glance around the room before my eyes landed on a sleeping Virgil.

"VIRGIL! Are you ok?!" I screamed jumping out of the bed i was in and racing over to his bed. His bed was purple and his cloake was draped at the end. That was when i notest how pale he was. Then i realized how skinny he was. I took his hand in mine. 'Ice cold' I thought to myself. 'Crap' i checked his pulse. 'Normal' Thank god. I stood up and took another look at my surroundings. The bed i woke up in was set up just like Virgils but blue. Then all of a sudden the memories came rushing back before i had gone unconscious.

Then a door handle giggled and a hidden door opened and I was meat with two yellow eyes. A face that would have made a normal person cower in fear, but made me look in wonder at. As he stepped in the room I saw who he was. I saw the hair creases where a crown usually sat. i saw the scare coming from the corner of his mouth curveing just up to his ear. The green flackes of skin on his cheek. My eyes meat his. I remembered him. I knew how to play this right. I knew how to make this go to my will. I knew how to catch him off guard. 

"Your majesty." I said sweeping into a boue. That caught him off guard when i looked up and smiled he had a look of surprise on his face.

" I am sorry we didn't get the chance to talk be for you knocked me out. But as you know i am Patton Hart. That name holds power as you know. But so dose yours. You are a king. That means that me and my friend stummbeled into a powerful kingdome am i correct. That means that you must want us for something. So cut to the chase and tell me what it is." I said.

'Wasn't expecting that either." a voice said inside of me. 'Shut up' i told it.

"Oh um ok. Well as you know there is talk of war between the light and Dark kingdoms. But nether can afford it. The middle kingdoms would also be at risk by not choosing sides or choosing wrong sides. Meaning we have to find a way for a powerful Dark and Light kingdom to form an alliance. So i have a proposition for you. You go to a light kingdome and convince them to form an alliance with us. Then both kingdomes can explain why the war will be bad." Dee said.

"That made no sense. But ok" Virgils voice sounded behind me. "Besides how the hel-"

"Language" I reminded him.

"Sorry. The heck. Are we supposed to convince them to form an alliance with you?" Virgil stated.

"You aren't. Patton is. You will be here with us waiting until the time is right to join patton if you need to" Dee stated obviously not knowing who he was talking to.

Virgil POV

"WHAT!?" Patton and I shouted at the same time.

"Why the hell would I leave him!? There is no way i'm gonna let him go to some strange light kingdom! Besides there is no way he would be able to convince them to join you. The reason we are here in the first place is almost all the light kingdoms HATE Midinvail." I said. My eyes where almost about to start glowing but on look at patton dimmed them out.

"Dee Can me and Virgil please talk alone." Pat said facing Dee.

"H-How do you know my n-" Dee asked

"Not important. Please?" patton begged.Dee then turned and left. Pat then turned to me those crystal blue eyes shimmering in the light streaming through a window.

"No.way.in.hell..." I said sitting back on the bed. I wouldn't let him out of my sights not again. Never again.

"Virgil. I have to. You heard what he said. Even if he doesn't remember us he knows we have power. And i don't know about you, but i don't think this land can take another war. Virgil." He said cupping my face in his hands siting down next to me. Tears brimmed both of our eyes. I knew he was right. But then he would have to leave. And i didnt want to lose him again.

"But i don't want to lose you. Pat please, please. Ill come with you." I said choking back a sob as his hands wrapped me in a warm embrace. Pulling me closer. "Patton this could take months! Years even! I don't think i will be able to survive that long without you. Please don't leave me." I started to cry again. I heard him sniffle.

"Virgy. I promised never to leave you. So i wont. But if I don't go bad things will happen. Kiddo you have to understand. Besides. NOTHING will EVER tare us apart. No matter how long im gon i will come back. I will always take care of you and love you. You are my best friend. And like Dee said. You will come to me when the time comes. Soon this will all be over." Patton said and I tackled him in a hug.

"Ok, Ok, Your right . you do need to go. But just stay a little wile longer." And he did. We fell asleep that way. Me in his arms cuddled up against him.

Patton POV: A MONTH later

I was hugging virgil good bye. My stuff already loaded into a carreg. Over the last month Dee and Remus had trained me as a prince.

" Now what do you do when a Prince walks toward you?"

"Uh boue duh." I said annoyance lacing my voice. "I know that much." They also taught me how to slow dance. Remus was actually surprisingly really good at it.

"I. 2. 3., 1. 2. 3. There you go!" Despite his demeanor Remus was actually really fun to be around. Sure he was crazy but he was really funny.

"Bye Pat. Ill miss you." Virgil said as i climbed into the carriage.

"You know where your going right?" Dee said coming up to the window as closed the door.

" Croft Light Kingdome. Run by Logan and his little brother Roman Croft. Roman left logan 3 years ago in search of love but never found it. He is now back to help Logan run the kingdome. But being brothers they need someone impartial to help make the new decisions." I answered reciting what i had found out.

"And who are you?" Remus cherped.

"I am Patton Sanders. A middle kingdom prince whos main goal is to unite the light and darks. To obliterate Evil. I enjoy slow dancing. Cookies. And the occasional sword fight. I am a vary skilled speaker and influencer." I recited my new identity.

"Good. Now be safe." Dee said walking away as the carriage pulled away.

"ILL COME BACK! I PROMMES!" I yelled out my window to Virgil. His eyes where steaming with tears. His hand was clutching his dagger on his chest. I did the same. Then when we were farther away. "I love you" I whispered. And i fell asleep. Dreaming of my past.

HA Everything is coming together XD yep can't wait to see what Pattons dream is lol ill probably update again Monday next week! BYEEEEEEE
