Lilith's point of view

The next morning I couldn't even be bothered with a cute outfit. I just threw on some black jeans and a white lace up top. I shoved my feet in black Vans and put my curly hair up in a bun. Deciding this was the right outfit for it, I put in the nose ring I got a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't feel like eating breakfast, so I just took my stuff and drove to school. My first class was without Quinn, meaning I was just gonna play games on my phone or take a nap. Feeling relieved when no one was in the classroom yet, I took my seat and dropped my forehead on my arms. My eyes closed and a deep breath escaped my lips softly.

I clenched my jaw, trying to stop my teeth from clattering. It was colder than I thought it would be and I regretted not bringing a jacket. "Well aren't you a ray of sunshine on this fine morning." Ephraim disturbed my peace as he dropped in the seat next to me. Flipping him the bird as I lifted my head to give him a fake smile, his friends joined us.

"Awh, woke up in the wrong bed after a wild night?" He asked with fake concern.

"I'm not you." I scoffed. He scowled and then surprise took over his facial expression when his eyes landed on my nose. The classroom door flew open again and I shivered at the gust of wind that came my way. Something was draped over my shoulders and I turned back just in time to see Vincenzo zitting back down.

He kept looking at me without emotion, making me avert my gaze to the black bomber jacket that was laid on my shoulders. Ephraim turned to his best friend, obviously confused why he was offering me help. Vincenzo gave him a shrug. "She was cold." He stated.

"Thank you." I mumbled, not making eye contact. Something about him just so familiar, he was always the one out the three that was nice to me. Sure, Dashiell wasn't mean but he wouldn't do something like this. Maybe for other girls, definitely not for me. Vincenzo was just a real mystery to me sometimes.

"It's no problem." Vincenzo deep voice replied. It was quite odd to hear because he was the one that rarely talked. He'd usually just sit by and watch Ephraim bother me. He's the smart and quiet one from the three, never really speaks up unless it's really necessary.

Dashiell was the loud and funny one, he just loved being the center of attention. I think it's because his parents are, well, let's just say they're one of a kind. He also loves girls, not necessarily sleeping with them, he just enjoys flirting with them and making them laugh.

Then there was Ephraim, the everyday pain in my behind. It all started in preschool, atleast from what I can remember. He asked for my red crayon, I gave it to him. Ten minutes later he was mad at me because Stacey told him she didn't like him anymore. All because she saw him borrow a crayon from me, so naturally little Ephraim blamed me for his failed love.

Then a couple events later in sixth grade, I punched him because he made my former best friend cry. He asked her out for a bet and then stood her up. He didn't dare to hit me back, probably because he was scared of my brother. "Geez, Lilith, I know I'm hot but there's no need to stare at me like that." Ephraim's voice pulled me from my thoughts.

"What?" I asked dumbly, not knowing what was going on. The class was already filled but we were still waiting on the teacher. I'm pretty sure my light green eyes shone with confusion as the guy continued to look at me. "What the hell is going on?"

"Teacher ain't coming!" One of my classmates hollered and I groaned. I got out of bed for nothing. I gathered my stuff and then offered Vincenzo his jacket back. He just shook his head with a wave of his hand and stalked off after Ephraim. Frowning at the odd male specimen, I tugged the jacket on properly.

"Aye, Lily, you coming?" Kyona asked as she stood by the door. I nodded slowly and hauled my bag over my shoulder. The two of us walked to the field, happy to watch some hot guys at early morning practice. "I'd go for Liam." Kyona stated with confidence.

"Really?" I said, looking the blonde boy that she meant. "I think I'd prefer Zach." I pondered over it for a second. "Yeah, definitely." I nodded and she gave me a look. "What? He's hot, he gets decent grades and I just love me a Latino." I shrugged innocently.

"I just love me an Asian boy." She raised her shoulders back at me in reply. "Whose jacket is that?" She nodded to the jacket I was wearing.

"You'll freak out." I shook my head at her. Kyona pouted and grabbed my hand, looking at me with her best puppy eyes. "Fine, it's Vincenzo's." I blurted and she froze.

"What?!" She screeched, tugging me closer. She sniffed the jacket and swooned. "It smells great. And- And it's so soft and warm."

"Girl, are you on something?" I gave her a weird look.

"I wish I was on Vincenzo." She sighed and I pulled a face.

"Too much information."

School was over and I was trying to find Vincenzo to give him his jacket back. Quinn flipped when I told her about the jacket, it was quite weird to witness. "I'll just give it back tomorrow." I sighed, looking at the clock on my phone. I still needed to eat and then my shift at the bar started.

I got to the parking lot and saw there was only one car left, that one being mine. After I drove myself home, I quickly made some pasta and shoved my dinner into my mouth. By the time I was done with cleaning and eating, it was already 7 PM.

Pulling my hair out of a bun as soon as I got to my room, I snatched my blonde wig from the fake head. I bundled my hair tightly together again, this time into a neat bun. I put the wig over it and then moved to my bathroom. I put in my blue contacts before rushing back to my vanity. I put on mascara and bright red lipstick.

"What to wear?" I muttered as I stood by my closet. I threw on a red off the shoulder top to match my lipstick and kept on the same jeans. I kicked off my shoes and replaced them with a pair of black heels. I snatched my keys, phone and purse from my desk before racing down the stairs. "8 PM, shît." I cursed because my shift began at 8.15.

I got in my Rover and raced to the bar. Well, it's more of an underground fighting bar. There was a huge ring in the middle and bars in all corners. Lucky for me, the guys always put me at the bar the farthest from the fight. I parked the car at the back and entered through the private door. That entrance was only for fighters and some employees.

"Lilith, just on time." My boss, Sergio, smiled at me. "It's probably getting busy today, that great guy, Hunter, has agreed to another fight." I grinned at him. That guy was adored by our crowd, he always makes sure there are lots of people. Which was good for me because that means lots of tips. "You know your station." He opened the door for me. "Have fun." He chuckled and I nodded.

I pushed my way through the mass of bodies and hopped over the bar. When people saw me they immediately started to holler their orders. Once the majority was served, Sergio announced the fight and everyone rushed to the ring. It was pretty far away from my bar so I couldn't see who was that great guy. All I saw was a mop of black hair.
