Lilith's point of view
The next morning, I got ready for school as I thought over the events of last night. I couldn't shake Quinn's behavior because she seemed so off. And I don't mean just the way she responded to Vince's call, I mean the whole night. She even left without a decent goodbye.
On girlsnight, we cuddle. It's just as easy as that, we all just huddle together on the couch and lay over and ontop one another to get as comfortable as possible. We usually grab food along with blankets so we can watch movies and gush about the hot guys in them.
Apparently not last night, she just went to the single chair and sat there with a blanket. While Kyona and I were on one couch and Brie and Shannon laid on the other.
All Quinn did that night was text and glance at the movie that was playing. She didn't even try to snack anything and she loves snacking. I know and love that girl, last night that wasn't her. Something was wrong with her and I tried to adress it but she just dismissed everything.
"Something has to be up with her." I muttered to myself as I shoved my legs into a pair of black jeans. I snatched a random shirt from it's hanger and tried to put it on. "What the fûck?" I whispered when I realized it was some kind of white cross wrap, fitted crop top.
"Ah, whatever." I shrugged and pulled on my black Filling Pieces. They were a gift from my aunt, she was in vacation in the Netherlands and thought I'd like them. She was right.
I got a ride with Kyona to school and quickly changed my books before going to my classroom. I plopped down on my seat with a sigh and rested my head ontop of my arms.
"You okay?" Dash asked, sitting down in Ephraim's seat. I lifted my head and offered him a smile, which he gladly returned. "You seem a little worn out."
"I'm fine, there's just some things going on." I shrugged, sitting upright to fix my hair.
"You know we got you, right?" He asked with a serious expression on his face. "You helped us with Eva and everything."
"Yeah, I know." I nodded, yet I knew deep down I'd never have the courage to ask any of them for help.
"Bro, scram." Ephraim entered the room and nodded his head at Dash.
"Love you too, man." Dash rolled his eyes at his best friend and then moved over to his own seat. Ephraim sat down next to me and ruffled my hair with a grin. I glared and pushed his hand away from my curly locks.
"Alright, I'm sorry!" He laughed, putting his hands up in surrender and I rested my chin in my palm. "I'll be gentle." He promised as he started to wrap one strand around his finger with a concentrated look on his face.
I smiled when Quinn entered the classroom but she just walked past me to her seat without saying anything. A frown took over my face as hurt shot through me. "Lil! Lily, I'm stuck." Ephraim muttered with a panicked voice. I turned to look at him and saw that he had two fingers wrapped up in one curl.
"You are an idiot." I shook my head with a smile as I started to untangle his fingers.
"I'm a hot idiot." He smirked, leaning closer to my face and our noses bumped against each other. I quickly pulled back a little and rolled my eyes to shake it off.
"Eh, debatable." I shrugged and he gasped, clearly offended that I didn't agree with him. I mean, he's sexy as fûck. There's no denying it but I won't give him the satisfaction of knowing that I think he is sexy. It would increase the size of his ego drastically and that's not something anyone of us needs.
