"(Y/n)! Get up!"
I jolt up from my sleep, looking around the room wildly. Jumping out of bed, my eyes finally focus on the blonde witch standing in front of me.
"You're about to miss breakfast. Cedric has been waiting for you in the common room all morning. Come on, we've got to go!" Hannah yells shoving a pair of light washed ripped jeans and a yellow sweater into my arms before ushering me into the bathroom.
After shutting the door behind me, I quickly change into my clothes. I hurriedly brush my teeth before tossing my hair into a low ponytail. Rushing out of the bathroom I throw on a pair of grey shoes. I pause to look at myself in the mirror before being shoved to the door by Hannah.
As the two of us shoot through the doorway I slam into something hard. Rubbing my forehead, I look up to see Cedric laughing at me.
"A little disoriented this morning, Princess?" Cedric says, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the common room exit.
"It's too bloody early for this," I groan as he hurry down the corridor to the dining room.
"Well, look on the bright side. Today's Saturday, so you won't have any lessons after this," Cedric points out as we enter the dining room, finding it already half empty.
"I suppose."
Cedric lets go of my hand and goes to get us food. I yawn, walking absentmindedly to the Hufflepuff table. While I'm rubbing my eyes I accidentally bump into someone. Before I can stop it, a quiet growl escapes my throat.
"Oh, feisty aren't you Princess?" Pansy Parkinson sneers at me, an amused smirk plastered onto her face.
Of all bloody people in this school I just had to run into her. I'd liked to knock that pretentious look right off that pugface of hers.
"Sorry," I mumble, trying to step around her.
As I step to the side she steps in front of me, her smirk growing wider. She crosses her arms, almost daring me to make a move.
"What was that? I couldn't hear you. Could you repeat it, please?" Pansy sneers, raising a hand up to her ear expectantly.
I let out a huff and clench my fist, trying to control myself. Painting on the best smile that I can muster, I nod to Pansy.
"I'm sorry. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go find Cedric," I retort while brushing past her, making sure to knock her shoulder with my own as I do so.
"You filthy little mudblood," I hear her hiss from behind me.
A hard push comes to my back, making me fall face first onto the ground with a huff. I hear snickers from the Slytherins on my right, no doubt praising Pansy for her action. As I push myself up, Harry and Cedric kneel down next to me.
"(Y/n), are you alright?" Cedric asks as he and Harry help me to my feet.
I nod, doing my best to control my temper. I swear if I am ever in a room alone with Pansy she may never walk out alive. I notice Cedric trembling as his eyes leave mine, staring down the Slytherin at fault.
Cedric pushes me into Harry and takes a step forward towards the Slytherins, "Parkinson, you're such a-"
"Oh, can it Diggory."
I look over to find Draco Malfoy stalking up to the scene, a smug look coating his features. He waves a pale hand at Cedric dismissively.
"Stay out of this Malfoy," Harry hisses, handing me off to Hermione and Hannah.
