Unrequited

love?

As I slowly rubbed my sleepy eyelids, a soft kissed was placed on my forehead only to bring a small smile to my face.

"Good Morning Asia." his deep voice echoed through my ears.

"Good Morning Adonis," I replied tugging at his plump bottom lip.

"You know we've got another 3 hours to spare before the next board meeting," he stated before planting small kisses all over my neck.

"Nope, you know those three hours little hours will turn into the whole day when we get started. Plus, the fact you have 3 little ones at home and a wife to get home to by the end of the day."

I took a deep breath after those words left my lips and thought about how becoming friends with my boss, let alone a CEO of a billion-dollar company blossomed into a late-night rendezvous that was happening every other weekend.

"They can wait, you know when my attention is on you it stays on you," he whispered once more carressing the side of my cheek.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance before it turned into pleasure as Adonis soon went under the covers between my legs and ate me for breakfast. We stopped around 2 in the afternoon, while getting dressed I stared at myself in the marble encrusted mirror in his bathroom.

Should I tell him?

He snaked his arms around my half-naked body and pushed one of my curls behind my ear. We looked at each other both in the mirror. At this exact moment, it felt like we're intertwined without even saying a word.

"Make sure you lock up before you come into the office and can you pick up the kids around 5 for me? Their mother won't be able to pick them up because she's modeling in France," he said as if it was normal to be talking about his wife after fucking me senseless around a 1.3 million dollar condo.

"Sure thing Don, I hope I get extra pay. You know your house is like hidden in the forest with Bambi and that's mad gas money."

"Of course, anything for you my sweet Asia."

With that, he left in a nice black tailored suit with my heart in his shoulder pocket.

After Adonis left, I slipped on some blue jeans, with a white blouse, some black flats and left my hair in curls. I sighed at the sight of my little belly in the mirror before walking out the door. I don't think he's noticed my small weight gain.

Like he'll ever pay attention to anything else that's not between my legs. I tried to shake the thought out of my head before picking up his children, with their mother being there whenever she wants; they to look up to me. Being happy when I pick them up from school is the least I can do.

As I approached the school, my thoughts went completely out the door as the three bundles of joy ran up to my legs.

"Awsia you're bwack can we go to the park twoday?" said Jayden, he's only 6 missing two of his front teeth.

"Look what we drew in class!" Aubrey yelled while showing me a small panting in her hands from class; for a 9-year-old she has a big imagination and can't fit it all on one page.

"What did you do today Simon?" I signed in sign language while crouching down to get a hug from him.

He signed back "Went reading and playing." with a soft smile, with him only being 10 he's the smartest of the trio.

I packed all their belongings in the car and made sure they were secure inside before taking them home. Arriving at the family house gave me a different feeling than Don's secret spot for me.

It was a homey feeling that I've always wanted. As soon as I let the kids free, I started to make dinner for them until I was interrupted by a little someone asking me to paint with them.

"Asia, can you come to paint with me? Pretty please?"Aubrey asked making those puppy dog eyes, I couldn't help but fall into her trap and go paint.

2 hours passed and I was covered in colors of the rainbow from head to toe and Aubrey just stood there giggling. We attempted to draw a tree but Aubrey knocked over the green paint for the leaves on the floor. So she thought pink could replace the leaves, then she knocked that paint can over, so the leaves are 6 different colors but it turned out nice and she was in love with it so that's all that matters.

I hurried to change clothes since it was getting close to dark and I wanted the kids to eat before bedtime. I borrowed one of Adonis's tees and sweatpants and got to cooking. I fixed dinosaur nuggets, green beans, and mac n' cheese and dessert was popsicles.

I couldn't help but giggle when Simon made soft "ow" noises when he sucked on the popsicle too hard. Jayden kept flicking his green beans at me so then everyone just started flicking green beans at the dinner table. Aubrey kept making the dinosaurs "walk" in a line on her plate before shoving 3 of them in her mouth at a time.

Dinner time soon came to an end and everyone was getting sleepy, even me. I made sure the little trouble makers all showered, read a bedtime story to each one, and kissed them goodnight. As I was finishing up Simon's bedtime story, I heard the front door open and close. I quietly closed his door and made my way downstairs to see an Adonis completely soaked from outside.

"Raining cats and dogs tonight huh?" I joked.

"Real funny Asia, did I miss them tonight?" he asked, taking off his wet jacket and setting his car keys on the table.

"Yup, I put the last one to sleep, so try not to wake them up or I'll beat your ass." I retorted giving him the finger.

Adonis rolled his eyes but he remembers the night I put all the babies to sleep and he came in making so much noise that each one woke up and they were so happy to see him they didn't go to sleep that night till 4 am.

"I won't, they're my kids remember?"

"They're basically mines, I bet you don't even remember when Simon lost his hearing." I spat back to hear his response.

"It was in kindergarten and it was around his graduation when he couldn't hear us clapping so he started crying." Don retorted slipping on a dry tee.

"Touche, I guess I'll see you in the morning at 7."

"Why don't you just stay the night and watch a movie with me?" he asked making those puppy dog eyes Aubrey uses.

"She gets that dumb trick from your dumb ass." rolling my eyes I sat on the couch.

"If I'm that dumb, how come I'm a CEO and you're just a cabinet member?" he replied sliding next to me and flicking my nose.

"Cause God knew I'd be too powerful as a CEO." I laughed.

Damn right he did.
