I couldn't stop laughing at Paris, knowing damn well we're supposed to be acting like mature women.

I'm mid-bite into my honey chicken, and this girl shoves two chopsticks on the side of her mouth and makes whale noises. I nearly choked on my food.

"Paris, we're literally 24 and you're still doing shit we'd do at lunch in high school."

"Who said we couldn't stop being kids Asia? Not one fucking soul. Let me eat my meal in peace as a whale."

Then she proceeded to eat her lunch with her hands, I couldn't help but to laugh my ass off. Paris was definitely the only reason why I was sane in this chapter of my life. I love her to a million pieces.

After the messiest lunch known to man, I told Paris to just drop me off at my house for the day. I told her to just make sure no one stole my car. I really needed to rest, I felt really exhausted from all the fun at lunch. I knew the baby was going to take a toll on me but sheesh.

Once I opened the door, my three babies come barking at me. I couldn't help but smile and give each one them kisses and belly rubs.

"I know you guys are happy that momma is home early. I am too. Who's a good boy? Cooper is! Who's the prettiest pup in the world? London is! Who's apart of my favorite sandwich? My baby Peanut!"

All I got in response was happy barks, sloppy kisses, and toothy smiles. I locked the door behind me and made lunch for them before heading upstairs to my lair.

I looked at my messy room, with books, unwashed clothes, and dog toys all over the place. Maybe some cleaning will get my mind off of everything. I changed out of my work clothes and slid on a royal blue sundress, not having a bra on is complete freedom.

I found my Bluetooth speaker and started playing some Whitney Houston. Putting on a different show for every song to the imaginary crowds in my room. Cleaning up my room was definitely needed.

As I was walking down the stairs barely being able to carry all the clothes I haven't washed in a while. I hear a couple of knocks at the door.

"Heywroo. Iws anyteeone home?"

I covered my mouth at the sound of Jayden's voice. I didn't want to cry, but I was so caught up about Adonis and me. I totally forgot about how the children would feel about me being in the role of their mom. Would they hate me for it when they get older?

Then I heard another voice.

"Daddy, I think she's sleeping. What are we going to do now?"

As I put my clothes on the floor and shushed the pups to silence their barks and sit. I couldn't face Adonis-like this. The babies are supposed to be at school regardless, why would he take them out like this. I'm not that important, am I? He's the reason why I feel like this.

I took a deep breath and opened the door slowly to see Jayden with a toothy grin, Aubrey with her my little pony purse in her hands, and Simon with a grin. I bent down to give them all a big group hug. Completely ignoring Adonis in the process.

"Daddy took us out of school to come to see you!" Aubrey said excitedly.

"Ywup " Jayden agreed while grabbing my hand.

Simon just wrapped his arms around my shoulder.

Even though they aren't my kids, they're still my little worlds.

"Paris told me you went home for the day, so I wanted to check up on you. Since I know the kids missed you the other night, I figured we could all get together and eat some dinner together." Adonis stuttered holding up some bags of  food.

"You guys go on ahead and play with London, Coop, and Peanut while I talk to daddy for a moment. Alright?" I say after kissing each one of their little foreheads.

"Dwon't be two long!" Jayden said running into the house after Simon & Aubrey.

I stood up and closed the door so the kids couldn't hear our conversation.

"Look, I know I was being a dick the other night. It's just you know it's hard for me right now. I'm about to be in the Forbes Magazine next month. I love you completely, from the tip of your head to the bottom of your feet. It's just when I married Theo , I vowed to be with her through sickness, health, and anything under the sun. Just can we not joke around that topic." he sighed while looking at me.

"Well Congratulations, my fault for bringing it up. It won't happen again. I know you're excited to be drowning in more money." I say sarcastically.

"Asia, I'm being serious. Also, were you serious about the whole pregnancy thing? I need you to be honest."

"No, I got the words mixed up when I was yelling. Anyways, what did you bring for the kids to eat?" I ask before opening the door again.

"Chinese food, since I know that's your favorite. I even got the spicy beef egg rolls you love." he said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes, but inside my heart just skipped a beat.

"Well, I'll grab some plates. You go grab the kids from outside."

"Before they come in, are we good?" he asked grabbing me by my waist.

"Yes, now get off of me before the kids see," I say trying to get out of his grip.

"Can I get a kiss?" he teased grabbing my ass in the process.

"Fine, only o-"

Before I could even finish my sentence he placed his lips against mine, is this what Eve felt when she bit into that apple?

All the worse things, feel so good.

"Asia! Where are you! Peanut ripped apart my pony! Can you fix it?"

Adonis and I broke apart at the sound of Aubrey's voice. Which was perfect timing because she came running around the corner with a severed pony head. I couldn't help but laugh.

"It's not funny, she has to go to Princess Celestia to get fixed with her magic powers!" Aubrey yelled with tears in her eyes.

"Well we'll go talk to Princess Celestia, but you can't be crying in front of the Princes Aubrey. You're a princess too. Princesses don't cry in front of each other." I say bending down to wipe the tears running down her warm face.

"W-will she be able to fix her?" Aubrey stuttered while looking at my other hand.

"Of course love, but you've got to give your pony friend some time to heal. I'll go talk to Princess Celestia to make sure she's back to normal alright?"

"Thanks, Asia, you're the best mom ever."

Hearing those words come out of her mouth, struck something in my heart. The same feeling when I heard Jayden's voice at the door.

"No problem, my love."

"Aubrey, don't forget who you're real mother is. Asia is just you're big sister."

Hearing those words come from Adonis's lips really struck a nerve in me. I mean he isn't wrong but at the same time, Aubrey doesn't see her mother for months at a time. The kids are at an age where moments only happen once in a lifetime. These are the moments a mother in my shoes would love to be apart of.

"But, mom is barely here to play ponies with me," Aubrey whined.

"I know sweet pea, but she's still your mom. Plus, you've got daddy right here." Adonis cooed trying to pick up Aubrey.

"It's not the same, and you're no good as she is either. "Aubrey swatted at her hands and stomped away from both of us with her little arms crossed back into the backyard.

"She gets that from you."

"Of course she does since I spend the most time with her, but at least she didn't get it from her mother."
